“Hypermetamorphosis” (a term used in the 1800s to refer to the condition Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). The song explores what it is like to live with ADHD. The song is a journey of discovery through the imagination of the ADHD mind, allowing one to see connections and flows in a way that is inaccessible through the filter of rationality in a neurotypical brain.

// The Album
'Trust No Leaders' is a record that weaves a voyage through heavy metal history — from its roots in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal up until present day, fusing heavy metal with their signature ‘poetry performance’. Set against orchestral and cinematic soundscapes, the record also pays tribute to non-Western musical traditions, including Native American and South American folk music, Vedic chants, and Indo-Persian classical music. The lyrics bring together elements from modern theater, classical Persian poetry, to Jungian Psychology and theology. 

Commenting on the motivation behind Trust No Leaders, 
TCOMAS: "Our inspiration extends beyond musical genres and the confines of discipline.The confluence of influences in our album extend throughout time and across cultures. In retrospect, this really captures our ethos: Look back into the past for insight, and look into the future with foresight. And in doing so, we created something new of our own."

Landing about 15 months after their debut album Full Spectrum, the duo’s sophomore LP expresses a more aggressive side to the band and was recorded last summer at TCOMAS’ studio in Camden Town, London.   

Discussing the new album’s motivation, TCOMAS:
"The current crisis and the events of our time have made it necessary for us to analyse, investigate, and expose the issues in urgent need of systemic change by looking inwards into the human condition. We want the album to be a beacon of hope, for making a future that prioritises people and the environment."

Slow Day

This started with romantic lyrics but soon turned from nostalgia into melancholy with some quiet, improvised guitar in a jazz style. 

These lyrics play on the idea of the multi choice response 'all of the above' while mixing in some changing sky imagery. I snuck in a bridge about bridges.

The smell of fresh air, rush in sunlight all the good stuff. .This song write itself quite easy. The finishing touches my goodness was a job! John Ludi is a musician/singer-songwriter/cultural relic with a diverse and "arty" array of influences and lyrical interests who was "Indie" before the term even existed. Working outside of the music industry by choice has given Ludi the ability to release songs of a level of lyrical depth that are anathema to the current culture.  Ludi lives off-grid in a yurt in the woods of WI and finds the materialistic priorities of our civilization incredibly wrong and destructive.
