We’re really thrilled to bring you a corker of a mix from DJ, producer and Affin label owner, Joachim Spieth.

Joachim’s long-lived journey with music spanning over the last two decades has seen him produce multiple albums, LP/EPs and countless remixes and contributions, while gigging in over 30 countries and growing Affin into one of the leading independent labels for deep hypnotic techno and ambient.

For us, a major part of the Spieth magic when it comes to DJ’ing is his mixing style, where he frequently relishes in longer transitions creating a seamless, hypnotic journey fully absorbing you in its magnetic ebb and flow.

In the studio, Spieth has become a master of beautiful, ethereal soundscapes and the more cerebral realms of techno; his productions in both techno and ambient are pretty sublime and more than well deserving of a place in your collection.

Citty is live modular techno project founded by Martin Vodicka. The project created to explore the sound possibilities of our times, to create impressions of non-existent worlds by using unheard atmospheres and modulation of noise. The variety of sounds Citty composes goes from dark ambient atmospheres and drones to hypnotic techno including not straight rhythms and patterns combined with distortions. It is a great pleasure to welcome Save Your Atoll for our next episode. He has created a story that gradually builds up with trippy grooves and tense harmonies, maintaining a vibrant and bright sound that takes the listener into an ecstatic state of trance and dance.

“Save Your Atoll" is a project that was established in 2019 by Italian artist Antonello Meloni, based in Sardinia. Deep sound and Techno are his current languages, forming the basis of a musical expression rich in ambient and atmospheric elements, never forgetting the groove that outlines the storytelling. After the first year dedicated to presentations and recording dozens of podcasts, Save Your Atoll started releasing his own productions in 2020. First, with a single strongly influenced by "Burial," then contributing to the compilation for the 10th anniversary of The Gods Planet with "Mediterranea" on TGP X. Finally, in January 2021, he released "The Universal Pattern," an EP consisting of three self-produced tracks.
Also in 2021, he released "El Ritual," "Bioma Ep," and "Blind Runners" for Fur:ther Sessions (Germany), "Limbara" on Oslated (Korea), and "Body Language" for Dosis Records (Chile).
In 2022, several releases followed one another, including releases for Bahn Rec (Spain) and Space Textures (England). In the summer, he also started performing behind the decks, hired by Basstation to join Polygonia, Claudio Prc, and Martinou, in addition to the residents. At the end of the year, an EP with the talented John Plaza on his newborn Linderluft Rec. will be released, as well as the very first track on vinyl for a huge V.A. with Fur:ther Sessions.
A first LP with 12 tracks (digital + vinyl) is scheduled for release in 2023 with Further Sessions, along with a solo EP for Soria Rec. (digital + vinyl), and a few singles and remixes.
His tracks have been played both live and included in many podcasts by top underground artists in the scene such as : NESS, Claudio Prc., Eric Cloutier,Ina Kacz,Justine Perry and many others.

Whether doused in the grit of his hometown Glasgow, or expanded by the widescreen vistas of his current base, Barcelona, the music of Darren Roberts has asserted it´s uniqueness within his preferred form of expression, rolling and tunneling techno, strong on propulsion and atmosphere.
Naming the project Deepbass was a strong statement of intent and commitment to a sound of his own, from the start. That he has in fact established it and remains on a path of constant perfection of it, is
indicative of Darren´s personality and talent.
This consistent path has seen Deepbass put out records on labels such as Edit Select Records, Aconito Records, Dynamic Refection and Soma, all the while enjoying a steady rise in recognition both with audience and peers. Along the way, he found in Italian producer Andrea Deplano, most widely known as Ness, a perfect foil for his vision of techno, with both collaborating on releases which displayed uncanny compatibility in sound between them. This commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno is further proved by his own label, Informa Records, where releases by names like Reggy Van Oers, nAX_Acid, Claudio PRC, Takaaki Itoh, Ness, NX1, Hironori Takahashi are constant highlights for those who crave expansive and engrossing soundscapes. What stands out from his production and performances is that Deepbass creates something identifably his own, but refuses to ever be limited by it or to get comfortable repeating just one thing. Instead, he takes what´s already his own and streamlines it, sharpens it and nuances it. The origin and destination might be constant, but the path it takes and how the journey feels is ever-changing.

Kameu is one of the most active and hard-working technoheads in Lithuania. Having started his DJ career more than a decade ago he is constantly honing his mixing and selection skills within diverse venues and line-up contexts. This is clearly manifested in his affiliations with atmospheric and darker techno enthusiasts Black Wave and minimal.lt. Thus his sets could be heard in the wilderness of Lithuanian woods, among the concrete walls of underground nightclubs or even Boiler Room broadcast.
Kameu’s own sets are as diverse as his activities ranging from functional techno madness to immersive deeper sounds or even ambientish pulsations, from old-school to cutting-edge tracks. He carefully merges the sensibilities required for both listening and dancefloor experiences.

This mix was recorded live at Minimal Mondays event  - warming the dance floor for Odd Hills and SNCTR.

A sudden release of energy transmitted as musical-rhythmic seismic waves is perceived, potentially with great pleasant violence. The first to arrive is a gravitational sound wave full of rich vivid textures along with crystal clear percussion that goes straight to the point, tearing the continents (bodies) (.)apart and the atmosphere (mind) upside down. Fractions of seconds later, a sound wave of magnetic pressure hits you gracefully with accurate and elegant bass distortion, alongside background soundscapes you would never want to leave behind. Radiation in the form of catchy dark-luminous melodies and overwhelming low-end signals travels through the earth (soul), removing the atmosphere and heating the surface in the process. It definitely knocks us out of orbit. A starquake just happened.
