Anomali is a producer and DJ from Gothenburg, focusing on deep and hypnotic techno.

After finding out how to make music with computers back in 1994, the path was clear. The electronic music revolution of the ‘90s provided endless inspiration, and soon he found a passion for house, techno, psytrance and drum & bass.

Making his DJ debut in 2002 helped him discover the creative feedback loop that both per-forming and producing music can lead to.

Following decades of honing his craft, throwing raves and DJing, in 2020 it was finally time to get serious. Deep and hypnotic techno felt just like home, combining influences from all of the incredible music he grew up with the ‘90s with a modern approach to sound design.

With several remixes under his belt, and his debut EP coming up in 2023, Anomali is off to a flying start. His mixes have been featured in platforms like Monument, KVLTÖ Records, Revelation of Sound, Fur:ther Sessions, Indefinite Pitch, Charybdis and Cellar Door.

Expect a meticulously crafted journey through moods, atmospheres and hypnotic sounds.

He gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms. Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene.

It’s with utmost pleasure we’re buckling up 2022 and shooting straight into 2023 with a powerful, atmospheric set thanks to Alexskyspirit’s contribution. Please make a due welcome to the greek (borned/raised in Patras) producer/Dj, also co-owner of the young @Khoros-label.

Alexskyspirit delivers a mix built on deep/dark bits together with newer tracks as well as exclusive, unreleased material. The result is ...moody AF, oscillating between a well-known dark-building-block (LN or Berlin-like), as much it kicks you into the midst of a white, powdery snowy mountainscape under starry Nightskies. It's the contrast, the thumping-red-thread (sometimes almost gloomy) that reveals Alexskyspirit's peculiarity. The journey embarks us in memories of both sweaty crowds, strobes and hypnotic states, somewhere between reality and dreams. Respites are given to calm the mind before kicks & basslines bring you right back in line. Cinematographic, ravey, a sense of mystery mixed are all in favor of a cathartic trip. Catalan DJ and producer, Massa is one of the principals within the Spanish deep techno scene.
A fine mixer and a true music lover, his sound is an elegant and cerebral deep techno which has had outings at venues across Europe.
In 2016 he created the label Hidden Traffic, based out of Barcelona, through which he publishes in physical format as well as digital, and releases productions from artists such as Deepbass, Ness, Blazej Malinowski and Reggy Van Oers.
Massa himself has also had releases on the likes of Affin Records and Informa Records among others.

• Crescent Textures #103 • Binary Thoughts

An electronic music duo from Macedonia, currently based in Skopje. The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within. The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. To understand nature and all its phenomena, we made a world of oppositions (day/night, sun/moon, male/female). Where the law of "all or nothing” rules, there is no in-between. But the reality is indeed always more complex and more interconnected than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.
This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. 

At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to do a project that will connect their somewhat different but similar taste in electronic music. Their melancholic, delicate and hypnotic sounds use 'binary thinking' as a motor to press on to a third term or a higher category that represents a transcending reconciliation or unity: where thesis and antithesis are always harnessed to yield a synthesis. Where seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary: Yin and Yang. 

Currently, they are exploring the vast horizons of deep and hypnotic soundscapes intending to create their unique blend of creativity to start producing their music.
