Many still might be unfamiliar with the name, but Attila Bujdoso aka 88Dubs’ music is constantly played by a number of international artists, including Fideles, Undercatt, Øostil, Echonomist, Brina Knauss, etc.
The 34-years-old Hungarian-born artist has been involved with electronic music for more than 10 years, but it wasn't until 2017 that he began to delve deeper into the mysteries of music production. His productions have been published by many widely supported record labels.
He was the first Hungarian to appear on the German Steyoyoke label, we have heard his music at the famous Traum Schallplatten, and more of his music appeared on the hungarian based Secret Fusion label.
He always focus on self-renewal and put all his energy into making music.

Immediately following the thirsty, fluid rave anthem ‘Only For Tonight’, TERR anticipates an upcoming debut LP on Phantasy with ‘Layers’, out now digitally.

This time drawing influence from the more psychedelic impulse of her artistic palette, TERR herself guides dancers through a spoken-word meditation on the universal challenges of taming one’s inner critic, seamlessly translating the complexities of an interior life into cathartic deep-techno with a smudgy pop edge.

‘States of Mind’ meanwhile embarks into similarly psyche-centric territory, emerging as a visceral acid track designed for the most euphoric moments. Means tested worldwide, including during a recent eight-hour closing set at Panorama Bar, TERR’s natural instinct for melody and melancholy delivers her own secret weapon to prize eyes wide open, with hearts to follow.

Speicher 125 is a most auspicious collaboration between two great, inimitable voices in techno: Kompakt co-founder Michael Mayer, and Magazine’s own Barnt. They’ve both been productive of late, Mayer with his “Brainwave Technology” EP in 2021, Barnt with his first release on Kompakt, "ProMetal Fan Decor Only Product" in 2022. Of course, they’re also busy with their respective record labels, and international DJing schedules.

You may already have heard their first track, which appeared on Michael’s "&" album from 2014, the psychedelic “Und Da Stehen Fremde Menschen”. For Speicher, though, they set their sights firmly on the peak time dance floor – the result is two stunning cuts of techno euphoria. 

On “Teller” Barnt and Mayer unleash a synth storm, tense and thrilling. Percussion piles up against the incessant buzz, but before too long we’re submerged in waves of dense texturology, making the track an object lesson in tension and release. “Duration” is a bittersweet anthem about "life long love". A moving voice tells us about "faith in life" while gleaming, synths, choral swarms and snares shower down from above to form an epic tale about duration and devotion.

Weirding the groove and updating the emotions, Speicher 125 is a monster.

Erol Alkan invites two much-loved talents work their own familiar magic on ‘Spectrum’. Mano Le Tough takes the track on a blissful trip through deep space, finding wormholes of sonic pleasure around an elastic bassline, waving bells and Moroder-esque synth. Finally, Istanbul's premier edit-master and renowned crate-digger Barış K takes the krautrock drums that drove Alkan's original track and engineers a dense, understated remix that utilises sounds inspired by the equally innovative heritage of Turkish rock and disco.

Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ-producer Terr makes her debut on Erol Alkan's Phantasy with a superb new single titled 'Tale of Devotion'. A wide-eyed exercise in pure synth-pop bliss that channels the spirit of Giorgio Moroder's early disco musings, the glitzy track sees Terr deliver a stupefying vocal performance which lays the foundation for a contagious arrangement of cosmic electronics.

Terr's 'Tale Of Devotion' - which comes paired with a ‘Discomiks’ and dub rework from Norwegian maestro Prins Thomas - drops via Phantasy on May 10.

Terr is the exciting musical project of Daniela Caldellas, the Berlin-based DJ/producer and label owner, who grew up in Brazil’s Belo Horizonte.

Her music experiences come from a long time - after spending her earlier years playing guitar in several punk bands, she decided to learn the basics of computer music to be able to express more complex ideas - “Electronic music allowed me to bring to life the sounds that I had in my mind,” she says. She became a studio addict, investing in analog synths and effects to work on her sonic experiments. 

Terr was born in 2016 as her first solo project. Its name stems from the 1970’s film “Fantastic Planet”: Terr is the name of the main human character. The debut release, a three-track EP titled Burn the Past, landed on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, followed in early 2017 with Misantropicalia — which extended Terr's musical horizons. 2018 saw the release of two solid EP’s on both Permanent Vacation and Correspondant, respectively. 

In 2019 Terr began her fruitful partnership with Phantasy Records - “I have always been a fan of the label and of Erol Alkan. I really like the way the label is focused more on the artistic and experimental side of electronic music. That's the kind of label and philosophy that attracts me and makes me want to work on something." Two EPs were released that year: the acclaimed Tale of Devotion and Energy Sync - which was the soundtrack for Moschino’s Fall Winter 2020 Fashion Show. Now Terr makes a triumphant return to Phantasy with a deeply dreamy new single, Wings of Time, complimented by a momentous remix from Tornado Wallace. 

Caldellas has set up her own label Clash Lion, alongside Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts. The label broke through instantly with the first release seeing Maetrik’s resurgence in a number of years. Since then the label has seen numerous artists pass through the gates including ANNA, Man Power and many more. In 2018 Caldellas released Dust on Clash Lion with remixes from Curses, Cardopusher and fellow label founder Daniel Watts. Throughout her career, Terr also did a bunch of killer remixes for artists like Tiga on Turbo Records, Rüfüs do Sol on Warner Music, and Ora the Molecule on Mute Records, among others. 

At the moment Terr's working on new EPs and an album for 2022 - “I am working on different things at the moment, I think I would be too bored if I had to work on the same style over and over,” she smiles. “I am doing some stuff that’s more "epic" and dance-floor-oriented as well as some romantic breakbeat and reshaped electro. I am really excited with the new stuff.” As for her inspiration, she has a huge myriad of influences: from Grunge to Electroclash through classic Disco, Philip Glass, The Knife, Leonard Cohen, acid house, techno, Brazilian popular music, movies and books - “I believe that ideas are waves of energy flowing through the cosmos and artists are like antennas. I try to keep myself and my senses wide open to welcome them”.
