Born in 1981 in Hartford CT, there is no wonder why Marvelous Lite aka Izzuez, has so much love for his city. Marvelous Lite, was born Jermaine Rondell Dixon and has been rapping, performing, and writing since he was 13 years old. He also goes by the name JIgg to many in his city due to the likeness he bears to famous rap icon, Jay Z, but Marvelous Lite has a style all his own. Marvelous Lite has not had any formal training but that has not stopped him from continuing to put his heart and pain in his music all the while still performing for and entertaining many followers at places like Toads Place in New Haven CT and engaging in plenty of street battles overpowering and out lyricing many local rappers across the tri state area. His undying passion and motivation for music is heighted by the loss of his twin brother in 2005. Marvelous Lite also loves to uplift his community. Through his talent and several outlets, he gives back to the young people in the community by volunteering at CRT, where he taught two classes, entitled Hip Hop 101 and Forming Verses. Here he instructed children and young teens aged 5-17, how to dance and rap.  Marvelous Lite also help coordinate the music for the cartoon ‘Scruples’ with Joe Young, well known novelist and cartoonist.
