The third release in the Terrorhythm Elements series comes in the shape of Topaz, with productions from Laetho, one of which being a collaboration with Abu Simbel.

Hailing from Belgium, Laetho's style can be likened to that of his european neighbour Ganz, specializing in technicolored synthesis and rolling drum work. This is a sound definitely beginning to become a trademark for that pocket of the globe.

Continuing to delve into the unspecified edges of bass music, Terrorhythm introduces listeners first to Oriental Colours, which feels like a nod backwards to the purple sounds of Joker, with a keen eye for progressing onwards into the future via some delicious synth and percussive work.

The flip of this one is a collaboration with Abu Simbel, Perception - giving the release a darker side, following stealthily in the shadows of the colourful lead track.

Following first play from Benji B, i-D premiere Plastician's brand new track, Sorcery. "I was trying to make stuff that sat somewhere between a grime instrumental and New York club influences too. I've been drawing a lot from both of those sounds in my current sets so I always try to fill the gaps with my own productions," says the Terrorhythm owner. "This one is the first of a bunch of different tracks I'm hoping to trickle out on the label before the end of the year. Having concentrated on DJ'ing and running the label mostly over the past few years, I'm not looking to re-introduce myself as a producer. "

I have a long way to go, I know that but, I also need to acknowledge how far I've come. About a year ago I switched from House to what I am doing now because of a certain list of artists which inspire my music even till today. One of the artists is West1ne. If it weren't for his music, I probably wouldn't even be making what I am today. His music definitely molded my style. I am eternally thankful to West1ne for working with me on not just one, but two tracks.
