2am Jams is a four track EP by Nottingham-based alternative/indie musician Ricky Jamaraz. The songs were written and recorded from August to early September 2022 and were recorded and produced entirely by Ricky Jamaraz himself in his bedroom.

This EP is the perfect indie rock starter pack for a young generation, from the fun and freedom-filled lovers vibe of "let me know" to the edgy, late-night grooves of "mariokry", the fast-paced innocence and relatability of "i miss you" to the anthemic, dance-alone-in-your-bedroom style of "romanticising autumn", these are all those mind-grinding feelings you get at 2am, but in song form.

Indie/alternative rock track with a soothing bittersweet vibe. The track reflects on a state of overwhelmedness and tiredness you get when you’re sleep-deprived and have been working too hard for too long. Comforting and cozy music you tend to listen to during such days feels like a warm and supportive hug.
The holiday season is coming but you don’t feel happy. You haven't slept for another 24 hours. You feel cold, miserable, and disconnected from everything. It seems like you let yourself down by not being happy despite all the effort you put into that. 
But if you look carefully through the crowd, blizzard, and all the mess you’ll see that there are lights in the dark as well. It’s a warm place in which you can take a breath, a place where you feel like you’re enough. Soothing piano riff and warm guitar are bringing back the feeling of the small safe space you need these dark December evenings. I wanted to create something that would tell you that eventually, it is going to be okay and to support those who are also having a hard time under the pressure of being happy during the festive season. 
That there is a place for you, even if it feels like the world is ending… or is it just the year?

Expressing rage and frustration, being part of the protest, or being terrified after scrolling through a news feed — I Think We All Gonna Die is the perfect soundtrack to be disappointed in society and scared for the future. 
120bpm is the perfect tempo for angry walking or taking down the government, and the blasting guitars are the thing, that definitely should be louder than bombs.
