mary d is a brazilian dj, music curator and producer. 
She also presents the L’invocation program on French radio Ola, which focuses on curating music from Brazilian and Latin producers. Her sound is strongly marked by accelerated rhythms of hard techno, acid trance, dark electro and old school groove mixed with the percussive sounds of baile funk.

badvi is a brazilian dj and beatmaker from east side São Paulo. His research is extremely varied, ranging from house to brazilian funk, passing through styles such as hardstyle and vogue,  always giving preference to frantic and fast-paced rhythms in dj sets, to make crow go wild.

Introducing another notable talent hailing from South America: Entrañas, a musician from Quito, Ecuador, is one of the crucial producers in the experimental music scene of the region. His work is characterized by exploring and transforming Latin American music, especially Ecuadorian native sounds and rhythms. He mixes them with ambient, bass, grime, and club music, achieving a nontrivial dope effect that you will surely feel in the mix below. His music is filled with rich textures, deep basslines, powerful drums, and dark, hypnotic melodies. Entrañas frequently collaborates with prominent artists in the industry and has released his music on labels such as Tratratrax, CTM, NOFUTUR3, NAAFI, Traaampaaa, and many others.

It's been nearly a year and a half since our show began, and since then, this sound become extremely significant in the electronic music scene. Portuguese vocals, dembow, and funk rhythms are now everywhere—in TikTok and Berlin clubs, in cars and cafes. They call that sound Latincore now and there’s no longer a need to spotlight it, it speaks by itself loudly and clearly.

In my farewell mix, I want to showcase other facets of modern electronic music from artists across Central and South America. This mix explores diverse BPMs and genres that go beyond the club scene, each carrying a distinct mark of its cultural roots.
