The human rights situation in Russia is becoming more acute each year. We believe that the violation of human rights is unacceptable. With Hand to Hand VA we want to draw public attention to this problem and provide assistance to organizations involved in helping people faced with arbitrariness. We have brought together like-minded musicians who share the ideas of cooperation, freedom and unity.

All proceeds from the VA will be split equally between the Russian human rights organizations: Mediazona (an independent media platform focused on the judiciary, law enforcement and penal system in Russia founded by Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova) and OVD-Info (an independent human rights media project aimed at combating political persecution).

We present you the EP from Anton Levdikov “The Umbra is going wild”. Umbras are the author’s mythical characters, about whom he tells legends about and depicts in his paintings and installations. The EP chronicles their journeys, which become wilder from track to track: through darkness to light, through light to darkness. A long but fascinating journey.

Musically, Anton notes his love for industrial music, acid house and electronic body music. The remixes involve producers from different genres: their diversity continues the path of Umbra. Among them: Mexican producer TKUZ (@tkuz), Spaniard and owner of the Logical Records label - Ivan De La Rouche (@ivandelarouch), resident of Arma 17 and Pinkman - LVRIN (@lvrin), one of the founders of the Bravers - ORYOL (@bravers_oryo) and resident of Temple de Plastique - JULIA KONOR (@juliakonor).

Burning the midnight soil, Wormbox is the amalgamation of two new age cats — Break Mode and Cole Baby whose collaboration results in something really far out. With mixes for Electric Shapes and Gop Tun, and a growing list of productions popping up on labels around the world, these two worms demonstrate a special pairing which is anything but grounded. Their jams are uniquely sewn together by combining each of their distinct production styles, creating a truly singular sound. Pulling from all sides of their electronic and dance music predecessors, the outcome is just as delightful as it is unexpected.

Afterlife is a perfect example how Wormbox have woven their tapestry of production together with off kilter breakbeat rhythms, tasteful melody synth and 303 lines, with a sprinkling of effects and samples throughout.

Spanish artists Orion Agassi and Luishock present ‘Amor i Ritme’, a music 
compilation for Valencia, that unites 27 artists to raise funds for victims of 
the devastating floods that hit the Spanish city in early November.
 In the wake of the catastrophe that affected Valencia and other regions of Spain, several 
solidarity initiatives have sprung up all over the country. Spanish producers Orion Agassi 
(Ritmo Astral) & Luishock (Vaalbará) are adding their support to the cause by rallying 
local and international artists from across the electronic scene to raise funds for 
families who will have to start from scratch.

The compilation features contributions from Andy Butler of American group Hercules 
and Love Affair feat Intuit Dazey, Belgrade-based producer and disc-jockey Lipelis, 
Periodica Records affiliate Whodamanny, and Madrid-via-Chile DJ-producer Fernanda 
Arrau alongside Multi Culti producer Balam, who join names from across the Spanish 
electronic scene such as Pau Roca, ALVVA, Jaisiel and Barcelona duo 
People You May Know, formed by Phran and Ylia, GAZZI, among others.
Amor i Ritme is the music of solidarity: 27 artists united in a single beat. A 
release that travels through different sounds and styles from ambient and 
house to industrial EBM, techno and acid in solidarity with one of the most 
emblematic places of the electronic music scene in the country, Valencia.
