Kristof Du Mon from Berchem near Antwerp (Belgium) is the man behind "The Mixing Chef". His passion is to cook Ambient and harmonic Downtempo music, flavoured by ingredients of all Downtempo and Chillout genres.

He experienced his love for music in earlier years through learning to play guitar by himself, but when he discovered how to produce chilled electronic music by using a computer, the idea for the project "The Mixing Chef" was born. He self describes his style as meditative trip, a smooth blend of many electronic chilled downtempo genres.

Mostly influences like Trip-hop, Chillstep and Ambient seasoned with love for Lounge define his music. His inspiration are artists like Massive Attack and CD-series like Cafe del Mar and Supperclub

If you See one of my tracks on a compilation album, please do not buy it. Some of my tracks have been circulating on compilation albums without my permission, and are often free downloads here on soundcloud!

The Mixing Chef

Mosquito Project has not a long history. This project start since year 2011 by Jaro V.
Jaro V. is a musician from Dubnica nad Váhom. His first experience with music were at the music school in Dubnica. 

After several years tried to start making music for people. Under the name Mosquito Project started to create ambient - chillout music
but also makes other genre rock, electronic.

Today, it has opened 3 projects
- Mosquito Project 
(ambient-chillout,game music, soundtrack) 
- SILENTBLISS 
(dark electro metal)
- Coldnoise
 ( dark,emocional,orchestral,ambient)

"If life is but a dream then make sure it's a happy one....." 
It all started many years ago at University with an Amiga, a copy of Protracker and a hardware sampler. With influences including The Orb, The Shamen, The Prodigy and everything electronic in between hopefully you'll find something in here that you like. All of the photos on the artwork are either sunsets or the sun rising in places I've visited or near where I live. The idea behind it all is supposed to be that (in my head anyway) my sounds take me to a place of tranquility and peace. I always feel that way when I see a spectacular view of the sun. 

I was recently lucky enough to connect with Pete Farmer from RedSeaDanceRecords (http://soundcloud.com/redseadancerecords) who has now released my first album "Dream States" under his label.
