Jamnuary 2025 - Day 21 (Day 11 of S2S event)

Feast

Jam 11 for the Seed 2 Stage Jamnuary Challenge 2025.  This track features a recording I made in Goa of a guy called Anil who made and sold HAPI drums there.  I added rhythmic street sounds, drums, bass and some chopped up samples of the HAPI drum for this Jam.

The event lasts optionally for the entirety of the 31 days of the month. 

The theory being a treasure will appear to be developed into something for release.

I intended to add drums and some synths but really dont have much time so I just recorded directly (not even with a DI) the idea of thumping, and then added a beginning that is not thumping. It's all a bit chaotic but my sound is too high-gain I think. Anyway, you get the idea and probably can see how it can be developed XD

Note: for some reason it clips on SoundCloud but the original file doesnt T_T
EDIT: I think I fixed the clipping issues now

The Chase

Alright this is the first ever official remix I've released of any of my tracks, and it's like the 3rd track I ever made and released. I had the honor of having Blakk Mambo over once again, and I just let him cook on this one until it was just right. I added a lot of mastering and dynamics that I've learned over the past few years, so the track should be sounding fresher all around compared to 3-4 years ago when I made it.

I didn't realize WHAM BAM didn't go up publicly! This is, technically, part 1 of Thank You Ma'am! I recommend listening to them back to back! My bad, y'all! 

I promised you ONE track this week, but I'm delivering TWO! These tracks are still in progress but I could use some feedback from YOU! Yes you! I'm mainly working on the transitions and overall mixing, but I'm not 100% on whether or not it FLOWS. That's where you come in! Let me know which one you like better, and if you have some constructive feedback I would definitely appreciate it!

These likely won't come out until a few months from now, OFFICIALLY, so enjoy this version of the tracks! TBH these are the "extended" versions of the tracks, so I really look forward to hearing your thoughts!
