A self taught Disc Jockey, way back when vinyl ruled the clubs, finding and playing that special track was what separated the good from the bad, and dancing until the sun came up was a thing. A young man with a musical selection well beyond his age, talent that surpassed the seasoned veterans, and knowledge to create a vibe in the most intimate of setting to a packed tent at a festival, was regularly travelling up and down the East Coast of Australia and abroad spreading his Funked up, Jacking, Underground sound to the masses. 

Unfortunately… This all came to a sudden end when settled in Melbourne whilst making huge waves in the Underground club scene. A ruptured eardrum was to suddenly end this whiz kids career. At least for the time being. 10 years later, the passion is there to re-emerge and create a live Dj experience. 

Known as a Dj’s, DJ. Ray regularly incorporates 3-4 decks at any one time, using loops, samples and Accapella’s creating remixes on the fly and a vibe unlike no other, to witness this live is a sight to be seen. He has kept up to date with his music library, yet as he aged, so did his ear to incorporate and layer music, making his sound extremely unique. Think - Funk, Soul, Gospel, Disco, Hip Hop mixed up into a big ball of House Music goodness.

Love Athletics sound can be described as Cosmic Techno, Psy-Disco,  with a post punk/funk and wave edge.  Formerly Ken ECB and East Coast Boogiemen.

Fergus wears many hats in the Melbourne electronic music scene, from Label Manager at Long running institution Smash Bang Records and as a mentor to its roster of up and coming artists, Through to one half of Live Tech house outfit Oddphonic who have had a string of successful releases in Australia and overseas and smashed dancefloors both in Melbournes clubs and festivals. As a solo artist and DJ, Fergus has shown to be an extremely prolific producer appearing on over 50 releases with both original works and remixes, on highly regarded underground house labels all over the world including Greenhouse, Chicago House FM, and Sonny Fodera's label Beatdown, as well as having one original tune and a remix on Mark Farinas Compilation Greenhouse Construction. He has also been supported and played by legends of the Genre including Mark Farina, DJ Sneak and Derrick Carter. Currently working on an Album of Downtempo Electronica with a series of gust vocalists, the releases will keep on coming.

Incidentally, I was just thinking- it miiiight have been better to pay someone else to do this- y'know, say nice things, draw dubious but impressive comparisons to great labels, generally concoct a lot of flim-flam for the cut-and-pasteables.

Llama Farm Recordings was set up in 2007 by Pete le Freq and Fisco Dunk to showcase their production credentials. Funk was the order of the day, and, luckily, the boys had managed to nab the Funk and tuck it away, so they could control the flow……….Down at the ‘Farm, the boys have been beavering away, and the label now has a reputation for delivering quality stompers, which now grace floors over the world. You’ll find tunes from the label in the boxes of the likes of Kinky Movement, Jay West, DJ Heather, Inland Knights, Joshua Heath, Giom , Mark Farina and many more

PLEASE, before you add me to any lists to send me your tracks, LISTEN to the music i put out. Then think, mmmm, will it fit in with the label?
Anything that is shared to more than about 30 people, i aint gonna listen to. This sounds harsh, but really, otherwise its just spam. I do look for new artists, but i generally find them........Also, as its a jackin funky house label, im unlikely to sign any minimal techno. So just dont bother.
