In 2021, I wrote this song as a dedication, and a diss to my then 6-year-old step kid, who was struggling with disciplines and listening. Being measly one year into the relationship that I am currently in, now happily married, I wrote this song out of frustration and care for the little Sh*t Head. It was never my intention nor my wish to be put in a child raising position, whether so abruptly or not. I had arrived at the conclusion to never have children to avoid overpopulating the earth since the age of 12. I hope a lot of you would relate to a stepparent's emotional journey dealing with the sudden arrival of such responsibility, the resistance, the dread, and finally acceptance.
