(Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend

Taking a surprising turn, country outfit The Bootstrap Boys put their spin on Mazzy Star's dream pop classic "Fade Into You."  It will be interesting to see how their signature sound translates to the slow-burning intensity of the original. Will they lean into the twang or capture the smoky atmosphere? One thing's for sure, this cover is bound to spark curiosity among both their fanbase and Mazzy Star aficionados.

The Bootstrap Boys' new EP, Whiskey River/Workin' Man Blues, features three tracks: two studio recordings of the title songs and a live version of "Whiskey River" recorded at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 5th, 2024. The EP showcases the band's blend of traditional country and bluegrass music, with their energetic live performance adding a unique dimension to the album.
