Give Me Back My Wig - By The Booze Blend

It is said that Booze Blend was born in Montreal in the basement of a rehab center on Prince-Arthur Street between 2006 and 2008. It took its first steps in an Acadian punk squat on De Lorimier, then in a backyard shed in Saint-Henri, eventually reaching maturity at the end of town where the smell of the refineries mixed perfectly with that of the alcoholic sweat of the four members of the group. Originally composed of Loïc, Lazy Boy Tarbox (piano, vocals), Seb 'Dirty Pickin' (guitar), MOnOnCle TouTou Dave (bass guitar), and Ugo MoRisOn (drums), Booze Blend has had a new apostle in its ranks since March 2019, Carl TuCker (harmonica), skillfully completing the joyful band of eternal lovers of booze and blues. The Booze Blend revisits a mixed repertoire of Chicago blues, old rhythm and blues, soul, and rock n' roll, from Sonny Boy Williamson to Junior Wells, including Bo Diddley, Memphis Slim, Ray Charles, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Link Wray, without forgetting some jewels from Plume Latraverse and Galaxie 500.
