@late-nite-tuff-guy is one of the legends of the modern disco scene and indeed one of the artists who helped set the scene back in motion over the last 15 years. Having delivered a multitude of sure-fire edits over the years we always keep a keen eye out for his latest releases.

His latest outing see's him go to work on a previously unreleased Silk track Somethin' 'Bout the way which was recently rediscovered and dates back to their 70's heyday, so something of a holy grail release.

As you might expect from one of Philly International's finest this one is really special from the euphoric pianos to the immense vocal. The 1970's loss is definitely our gain in 2023. 

Released via the excellent @asandbees and as always with the label 50% of the profits from this release will be donated towards the British Beekeepers Association.

This time for the track 'Undone' off her highly respected ’Sweet Side’ LP. Doing what the man does best, Mr Lee has restructured the track for the Disco Boogie dancefloor. Next up label don DJ Spen teams up with production legend @john-morales under the moniker Spencer Morales and as you might expect the result is spellbinding. Featuring Phebe Edwards on vocals they have delivered a sublime rendition of Stephanie Mills’ 1979 soul classic, ‘Whatcha Gonna Do with My Lovin’.

This is a about as good as it gets on the vocal disco house front an absolute masterclass from start to finish.

Morales has gone to town on the remix front with the M+M Main mix, M+M Vocal Breakdown and Instrumentals covering all bases.

Female disco trio from Montreal, Canada.
They were made up of studio backing vocalists who decided to team up as a group in 1975.
They were the first bilingual disco act to break in the big time and comfortably sang in English and French.

With the cross-over potential of their self-titled debut in 1976, the act re-released the LP in 1977 with all the vocals re-recorded in English for the American market.

This move proved successful as the act had substantial hits with in the US.

As the disco fad peaked and waned, Toulouse split up in the early '80's.
