Being known as one of the most tasteful and innovative DJs from South America with a huge worldwide fan base, Bárbara Boeing has become a leading name in Brazil’s independent music scene. After having been a constant stable at Toy Tonics Jams for years, Bárbara is now joining the label with her debut EP in 2023, co-produced by Sam Ruffillo. ‘Brigada’ is the first single, which she previewed in her recent Mixmag Lab set. Including an opening remix from house music stalwarts Session Victim, an early 2000’’s electro-disco throwback from Emperor Machine and glitterball funk from Mystic Jungle Desert. Each remix offers an alternative perspective on Tigerbalm’s sonic journey complemented by various artists including Tulshi, Baldelli Dionigi, CHICO MANN, Le Rubrique and many more.

It's this hard-to-pigeonhole Tigerbalm’s personal style, allied with an instinctive grasp of what works on the dancefloor – a by-product of over a decade spent DJing around her home city of London and well beyond. The concept of AZZURRO was like a week-long vacation in Italy. It starts with jazzy, slower sessions and progresses to an italo-jazzy-house gem, Summer Voyage. Passionate vocals with smooth Rhodes solo and licks on this track. Following some clubby tunes Electromarea and Dolphin Dance as a nightlife hangout, and a remix by the label founder Francesco FIsotti with cool vocals follows. Finally, with the last tune, you can feel the bitter sweet emotions when you are on your way to the airport to leave this magical country, but you have some souvenirs on your skin that they call “Ambraskin” (tanned skin) and the visual memories of the crystal clear sea they often call Mare Azzurro.

@NicolasKotowicz 's new EP on Mister T. Records transports listeners on a captivating journey through his immersive dream house waves. With three impeccably crafted tracks, this release pays homage to the genre's roots while injecting a warm club sound, right on time for this summer.

The EP opens with the enchanting track "Comprendo" which sets the tone for the entire release. Lush layers of atmospheric synths gracefully intertwine with pulsating beats, evoking images of golden sunsets and gentle waves crashing on sandy shores. Kotowicz demonstrates his masterful production skills as he weaves together delicate melodies and subtle percussion, creating a harmonious blend that's both relaxing and invigorating. "Comprendo" is undoubtedly a standout track that effortlessly captures the essence of balearic house.

French electronic champions I:Cube and Chateau Flight, trendsetting DJ Raphael Top Secret and newcomers Flegon provide us with remixes of the autumn released LP 'Sphere Of Existence ' by Antoine Kogut. Where the LP explored atmospheric and experimental pop, « Remixes » gives us a four tracker that is made for the dancefloor.

On side A, Chateau Flight transforms the title track « Sphere Of Existence » into a 90’s Italo house banger while I:Cube does what he does best in his unexpected dub version.  On the B side, Raphael Top Secret reworks « Current density » into a Hip House track full of deep vibrations and newcomer band/label Flegon fulfilled their goal of working with their all time favorite French Touch pioneer label Versatile giving us a Nu-Disco remix of the song « L ‘oeillet noir ».
