Mix of the Week (2024)

For round #83 we're more than happy to welcome back our close friend and fellow cashmere-goat @frinda_di_lanco back to the studio. Since her last visit quite a while ago she has cutted her teeth with an extensive DJ-schedule and in-depth digging in almost all mediterranean countries you can think of.

With her bi-monthly Music From Mullets show here on Cashemere she also created herself a cozy and charming outlet for showcasing her countless finds and to invite international Friends for inspiring guest-selection.

Mix of the Week #514: LOVE APE - Deep Explorations

The Kurkkio Festival is a yearly gathering way up north in Swedish Lappland. Arranged in true DIY spirit with stages in a barn and an old storage building used for drying birch. It gathers the best DJs from Sweden and abroad for a weekend every summer. The recording is from the opening set of the festival on a beautiful afternoon.

For Music From Mullets #19 we're going deep into the guitar section and celebrate the release of the forthcoming Crazy Temple EP on Avec Plaisir – the label that I am running with my partner @hendrik_stein
We will listen to six tracks of the record which is gonna be release by March/April 2024. To complete the journey I've been digging into Austrian and German Progressive Rock from around the 80s as well as pulled some great Rock oddities and classics from the @avec_plaisir_records shop
