This playlist is a compilation of the favourite musical discoveries of the Wud Records team from everything they heard at SoundCloud during January 2017.

Tracks have been arranged according to the number of plays at the time of publishing, starting with the fewest. Tracks that are early in playlists tend to receive more plays than later tracks, and we feel that the ones with fewer plays need the best chance of exposure.

This playlist is extremely eclectic, so if the track you are playing isn't doing it for you, try the next one. It will probably be completely different.

We also added a few tracks that have a particular progrock vibe in common time, such as songs that sound like they coul have been played by Caravan or King Crimson, or have a melotron in the mix. You get the idea.

Fun facts:
This song is in the key of Cm.
It was one of the last things Rowena ever jammed along to, hence the saxophone riff.
George plays the sampled guitar parts on Nicodemus and the recorded guitar parts on the Ice Maiden.

We are a four-piece prog-rock band from London, UK, influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock etc. We started playing together in early 2015, our music is based on rhythms and groves, with 70's funk approach, psychedelic soundscapes and plenty of space for improvisation for everyone.
