St3v3L33 and the track The End in the Jazz and International Journeys section given how much it is based on reverberating sax improv and rich jazz-infused piano chords but he calls it Ambient and, in essence, it is because of the way he has spaced out the sounds, put them through echo and other effects and created an enigmatic sound world. It is very musical and full of inventiveness with great dynamic contrasts and an ending that sees the track quietly deconstruct as unaccompanied sax fades into the ether. As a musician and producer, I find myself drawn to the unique sonic landscapes that various musical modes offer. My latest endeavor is no exception; I've experimented with the Mixolydian mode and integrated it into my new deep house track. The result is a melody that is both familiar and exotic, which I'm excited to share. The Mixolydian mode, which is essentially a major scale with a lowered seventh, infuses a bluesy, relaxed feel to my guitar melody, offering a fresh texture to the deep house genre.
