A high and tight remix of Rolling recorded for the self titled album McDEAD. This mix really lets the instruments and powerful yet fragile vocals breathe - with more space then ever before. Mixed and mastered by McDEAD without the effects of the original album version, so you can really hear the outstanding skill of Will Casserly of Plastic Jungle Records shine - the original engineer and producer. 
An amazing set of sounds are achieved with vintage analogue equipment... Laney Clip valve amp, telecaster and Les Paul for rhythm guitar, Stratocaster for Lead, and Gretsch for power chords... an old left handed Fender precision for bass, with Will Casserly's Bonham-esqe power drumming forming the mighty backbone of the track, a counterpoint Kev's melancholic post-punk vocals. 
All the tracks were recorded through an amazing vintage Harrison mixing desk... this was a truly an outstanding recording performance.

A majestic 7 minute track by McDEAD inspired by the very small and the very big scale of scientific adventure

Firstly the amazing Time of Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry machine at Imperial College - London used for detecting molecular ions... which McDEAD has used for archaeology - where he found out it was also used for space rocks

Secondly, this track experiments with a variety of sounds and instruments, blended with cracks and whistles of the Solar Winds via the Whistler Mode Waves signals obtained by the Parker solar probe launched by NASA and John Hopkins University

The science is further mangled up around an extended remix of McDEAD's previously short Pink Zeppelin... now totally full on

Time of Flight

Kate Bush's song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" is one of my favourite songs from the 80's, so I thought I'd make a Kate Bush remix with some inspiration from Porter Robinson. This was the hardest remix I have ever made, but it was definitely worth it. Hope you all like it and thanks for listening!
