this album was created in only a few weeks, with each song being made in one day. I set out to record, produce and master each song in less than 24 hours, some only being a 2-3 hour long session. I wanted to make a project that was more creatively fulfilling for me and this definitely did that and helped me to not be as much of a perfectionist and to just have fun.

As modern life spirals further into chaos and confusion, David Vassalotti’s newest album Broken Rope, a follow-up to his revered out-of-print 2011 LP Book of Ghosts, presents itself as a soundtrack for the tumult

Vassalotti, a Florida-based songwriter and performer for critically acclaimed 4AD signees Merchandise (amongst numerous other projects), has used this record as an opportunity to delve further into his own diverse world of personal interests. Broken Rope is a passion project, with Vassalotti handling all of the writing, performing, recording, production, and art design.

From lo-fi guitar pop sounds (a la Flying Nun staples like The Clean and The Verlaines), to elements harsh industrial noise and musique concrete, Vassalotti weaves together a wide array of musical influences with a steady hand. Similarly, the album’s lyrics draw from literary references as far- reaching as Portuguese history, Russian folklore, and Spanish poetry.

Ambitious as it may be to cover so much ground, there is a rational flow and unity that ties the record together. In the chaotic globalism of the 21st century Broken Rope may not be the compass that helps us find our orientation, but it can still serve as a mirror to help shape our concept of where we fit into the fray. This is an adventurous album for uncertain times.

Berlin based post-punks The Underground Youth have been Fuzz Club favourites since before the label was even born. During a tour in support of their eighth LP ‘What Kind Of Dystopian Hellhole Is This?’ Fuzz Club brought Craig Dyer and co. to Lovebuzz Studio in London to be the next addition to our Fuzz Club Sessions series. Seeing as we’ve spent the last few years releasing or reissuing their entire back-catalogue, we figured it was about to time to drag them in for a session
As with all Fuzz Club Sessions, the LP was recorded live in one take and straight to 2” tape, using only the finest analogue equipment and see’s their beautifully haunting psychedelic post-punk sound even more raw and impassioned than before.

Harmonic Spheres

Under the wings of Rebecka Rolfart you'll find the quartet The Hanged Man. 

Since 2013 they have played their nightmarely beautiful pop music, in a borderline of sorrow, strength, pain, power, mysticism and fantasy. The songs have been lured out of the hidden well, from the secret corners of the heart, and have become immortalized in this world with shiny raiment.

The Hanged Man arose in the calm after the storm, in a time of stillness when the world suddenly had turned upside down. Only then eyes could begin to look inward.

The inspiration comes from dark places like forests, skies and seas - even the own head where the interior is as a lake. The places are not necessarily scary, rather secure. It is in those places the soul gets room to shout out its need for affirmation.

The music is described as " fantastic fusion of tarot darkness and pop" (PSL) och "dark pop of the highest caliber" (Festivalrykten). 

In November 2014 the first mini album arrived "First Quarter Moon", followed by the cassette "Lord Have Mercy" in January 2016, both via Kning Disk. 
The debut album "Of Blood Is Full" was released in September 2017 via Dubious Records. It was recorded at an old winery in north of Italy, Palazzo Stabile, by Max-Måns Wikman.

The musicians of the band are all well known on the Swedish music scene, due to also being part of bands like Dungen, Saigon, side effects, Second Oracle:
