Become What You Hate

The Honesty is a Sacramento-based pop punk band known for their catchy melodies, unforgettable lyrics, and a sound that will keep you coming back for more. Their debut studio album, The Bridge, was written by guitarist and singer, Mike Davis, and was recorded in the summer of 2022 with acclaimed producer Sam Pura. 

The Honesty made a memorable debut by playing their first show with Jakob Nowell, the singer of Sublime. Their momentum has continued with a sold-out show alongside The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. For this special event, they released a new single titled "5150," written and produced by Mike Davis, with additional production by Eric Taft. The song was crafted specifically for their performance with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

They returned to Sam Pura for their follow-up album, Common Ground, which was recorded in the summer of 2024, with additional production by Mike Davis. Joined by new members Glenn Moon Jr. on drums, Paul Kirtley on guitar, and Gabe Ward on bass, the new album features Tyson Evans of Crooked Teeth, and is a perfect evolution of their sound. Their first single off the record is titled, “Spellbound,” which drops on Halloween. Catch them at a show and you will see for yourself. They will be out on tour for the rest of this year.
