This song follows the thoughts of the protagonist who goes through an abstruse day -- from rambunctious work colleagues a room over to thoughts of love far away in a world that seems forgiving yet un-reflective. Culminating in retroactive thought about purpose and place in the world, as well as questioning who 'teaches the world', the idea is that the teacher and colleagues could be, somehow, taught to understand what the protagonist evokes -- feelings, sentiments, morals, or otherwise.

The Hungry Pyknic consists of two members. One of us is the singer and the other does the music. Our songs are inspired by many different genres. We like to use unusual time signatures and song formatting while we write and create our sound.

All of our songs are recorded on Cubase Elements 11.

Our goal is to have our songs heard by as many people as possible. With time, we would like a Canadian studio to hear our songs and have them professionally recorded.

Ich definiere mich als Künstler im weitesten Sinne. Ich liebe es zu erforschen und zu experimentieren, sei es in der bildenden Kunst, Bildhauerei, Kunsthandwerk, Musik oder Schreiben. Manchmal träume ich, manchmal habe ich Spaß, aber manchmal werde ich im Gegenteil wütend auf das, was mich umgibt, und die Kunst ermöglicht es mir, all diese Gefühle auszudrücken. A non-singer songwriter! Writing a series of songs (Double Album) about western philosophy and philosophers while trying to keep them rockin'. These song explore western philosophy inspire by Nigel Warburton's Book "A Little History of Philosophy" and I started writing them to aid my poor muddle memory.

Picked up the Electric Guitar during lockdown after 20 years and haven't looked back - why did I put it away!

Looking at recruiting a proper singer and other band members to make live music once again.

Writing music and playing guitars (inc bass) keeping me sane in a mad world!

Main influence is 70s Rock, but into blues, soul, funk and jazz. I also play the spanish guitar classical guitar and dabble with the ukelele!
