Mind at Large compiled by Noema / Part III

In 1954, Aldous Huxley introduced the concept of „Mind at Large“ to help interpret psychedelic experiences. According to this concept, the human mind filters reality under normal circumstances while psychedelic drugs remove the filter, exposing the user to a Mind at Large.

In 2021, our label boss Noema selected 15 tracks ranging from Downbeat to uptempo House Music, to help you opening these Doors of Perception.

The third double-single features Nat Barrera, Noema, Landikhan, and Dat Garcia.

It is hard to stand still while listening to the driving electronic cumbia dancefloor bomb „El Pantano” by Nat Barrera in a Noema edit. House & Indie / Afro House 👽

Born in Argentina and now based between Costa Rica, Mexico and Europe, TOBA’s story began on the dance floors of the mid-90s, when electronic music first took hold of his world. That early spark still inspires his sound today - music that moves people deeply and personally.

Rooted in house, indie dance and afro house, TOBA’s sets carry rhythm, emotion and a hypnotic pulse that bridges the past and the present. 
His breakout track "I Am TOBA" caught the attention of top DJs and marked the beginning of his path as a producer.

His sound is psychedelic yet grounded, telling stories of connection. The booth is his home, the crowd his family.

In recent years he has played at Ocaso Festival, sharing the stage with Solomun, Adriatique and Michael Bibi, and brought his sound to Burning Man 2025. Upcoming shows include Dreamsonica Festival in Tamarindo and Reactor Venado in Panama.

As co-founder and resident of the Collective "Noon" and the "Awogoyk Project", TOBA keeps exploring the meeting point of sound, art and emotion --- creating moments that stay long after the last beat.

born in 1972 in south west of france.
Passionated by all sounds since child (blues, soul, R&B, rock, funk, disco, rap, electronic  (from berlin in first^^) 
I became a vinyles dj at 20 years old , in 1992, playing into nature areas , forests, private parties. Educated by Dj Nerate (UK) from famous Spiral Tribe team, i'm  proud to have been a part of these first influences @ early times of techno movement in france with very small audience (but high quality^^^one) , playing house, hardhouse, techno, hard techno, trance , psytrance... sharing the sound also in thailand & nepal  (92 to 95) & goa beaches (92 to 97) , jungle or breakbeat, during 10 years
After a break of 20 years..I came back on the desks , that time on digital materials from summer 2022 & at 50 years old..(a kind of revival !) 
I like to improvise with all the avalanche of new stuff that i hunt & receive  each day from some precious friends. But i love also to build some storytelling using the prods made by all the artists i adore.
Downtempo or midtempo (even high tempo), house, slowhouse, deephouse, hip house, electronic , deep beats,psytrance or chillhouse & even sometimes with melodic or else .
My eclectic knowledge & my singular way to mix make my personnality , & in first my way to communicate & share the love , groovy & Deepness most of time.
