In 1954, Aldous Huxley introduced the concept of „Mind at Large“ to help interpret psychedelic experiences. According to this concept, the human mind filters reality under normal circumstances while psychedelic drugs remove the filter, exposing the user to a Mind at Large.

In 2021, our label boss Noema selected 15 tracks ranging from Downbeat to uptempo House Music, to help you opening these Doors of Perception.

The third double-single features Nat Barrera, Noema, Landikhan, and Dat Garcia.

It is hard to stand still while listening to the driving electronic cumbia dancefloor bomb „El Pantano” by Nat Barrera in a Noema edit. [MAGIC020] Nat Barrera - El Pantano (Noema Edit)(from " Mind at Large", compiled by Noema)

Sima wrote this song after she had been part of a forest rescue protest in germany. Motivated by the collective energy that she felt while protecting these trees it was a natural step to take these feelings into a song.

These lines are inspired by the ongoing protests for a more natural living and respect to trees, animals and the people. Caen is dedicated to the brave who got injured and arrested for their peaceful protest.

We are dreaming of a system that cares more about us and protects the natural and emotional resources.

During rather dark and isolated times, Yotah and Voichek gathered in a small bassement to consult about their longtime love for downtempo techno. Soon they found themselfs spending countless hours in said place, often losing track of time and space, while taking their own approach on slow but yet energetic dance music, adding some dubby elements aswell. During this time they were able to learn quite a lot about music and how they could produce it, dealing with technical challenges and how they could manage to work in close collaboration while growing and thus changing as individuals aswell. Cut a rug EP presents the beginning of a deep friendship and an ever inspiring journey through sound and time.
