I like your use of percussion and the mix sounds nice and laid back.  I think that the vocals seem a bit out of place though and not mixed in as well as it could be.  Maybe take a look at that if you go back to it.

Pretty cool track. Very relaxing and laidback. Drums are nice and have a nice thickness to them. Vocals fit the track well. Overall nice clean and balanced mix. Keep it up

I like the original version too but this is totally great! love it mate! really good production skills here

this beat is fresh .. the vocals add a interesting flavor to it. i also like the changeup around 1:35

if you can make another verison of this track an try it with some real hard punchy kicks and some thick snare claps an see what it sounds like, if you like that style 

Laid back and sweet as a sweet pea. Loving the game soundtrack feel it has to it. Could picture playing Spyro the Dragon on PS1 with this.

Counterfeit Dub

Kristof Du Mon from Berchem near Antwerp (Belgium) is the man behind "The Mixing Chef". His passion is to cook Ambient and harmonic Downtempo music, flavoured by ingredients of all Downtempo and Chillout genres.

He experienced his love for music in earlier years through learning to play guitar by himself, but when he discovered how to produce chilled electronic music by using a computer, the idea for the project "The Mixing Chef" was born. He self describes his style as meditative trip, a smooth blend of many electronic chilled downtempo genres.

Mostly influences like Trip-hop, Chillstep and Ambient seasoned with love for Lounge define his music. His inspiration are artists like Massive Attack and CD-series like Cafe del Mar and Supperclub
