Café Mambo x Absolut 2021 Sunset Competition mix, as the brief stated 'Sunset' mix, so naturally, I thought I'd put a little spin on it... 'Ugly Sunset' - a term I stole from Comedian, Mike Gerbino in a show where he highlights a contrary argument to the commonly held belief that sunsets are always beautiful - 'That sunset has put an end to more beautiful days than you care to count'

Relatively open format (which is my vibe) portions of Disco, Soulful House, some mid-tempo Chill hop-style stuff with a sprinkling of music from Aotearoa (New Zealand) of which, I am from.
Mixed on technics 1210's, Serato, Phase, drumming and keys on the midi', A couple of 3 turntables mixes in there, some live flips by sampling, layering loops and then chopping note sequences on the midi. kept it funky with lots horns, percussion, and soulful vocals. I even threw in a little Paul Johnson tribute flip.
