Phil has been a fixture on the Australian electronic music scene for over 30 years. He’s played lots of records to lots of people in lots of clubs, bars, warehouses, fields, deserts, basements, carparks and bunkers over the years. He’s renowned for playing fresh sounds and forward thinking electronic music, and has been involved in putting on some of the most legendary parties and events in Sydney and beyond.

Voted Australian DJ Of The Year at the National Dance Music Awards in 2000, and twice voted into DJ Magazine's prestigious list of the worlds Top 100 DJs.

He’s played at all the premier events around Australia and held an infamous long-standing residency at Tweekin, the Sydney clubbing institution voted Best Club Night at the 2000 Dance Music Awards and described by DJ Magazine in the UK as "coming under the very short list of proper clubs around the world".

Phil has been chosen to play alongside a diverse range of visiting in Australia and has played all over the world, including London, Berlin, Mexico, Asia and across the USA. 

Co-founder of record labels Think and Thunk, he’s also released original material and remixes under various guises on labels like Motorik, Junkbeats and Future Classic.

The Sun is playing a secret melody, hidden inside itself, that produces a widespread throbbing motion of its surface. The sounds are coursing through the Sun's interior, causing the entire globe, or parts of it, to move in and out, slowly and rhythmically like the regular rise and fall of tides in a bay or of a beating heart. The sun is quietly singing. It’s boiling and throbbing gases create sound waves that resonate like a bell or a giant gong within its interior. These oscillations are visible as waves when they reach the surface, but their frequencies are too low to be audible by human ears. Fortunately, astronomers at Stanford University are able to record these acoustical pressure waves and speed them up approximately 42,000 times in order to produce a frequency that we can hear. The result is a tone or a musical note whose frequency is 144 cycles per second.

Born in Mexico, self-made in Ibiza, resident in between Berlin, the US, and her country. 
Since Cris Kai moved to Ibiza in 2010, she has been living and breathing electronic music. 
Focused on high-quality underground and little-known producers, she interprets atmospheres and traverses landscapes.
 
Cris selects from an eclectic slew of genres, focusing on  groovy bass lines, 
house, deep, minimal tech, electro, prog, indie, breaks, acid, slow-mo, IDM & more. 

Within ten years in Ibiza, four years in the United States, and multiple stays in Berlin,  Cris' talent and experience have taken the attention of a handful of tastemakers with a keen ear. 

Cris has been traveling and playing internationally in Europe and the Americas nonstop since 2016, counting over 30 cities in 11 countries.

Since 2021, Cris has focused on electronic music production and vinyl sets.
