The Junipers are a psychedelic pop band who were formed in Leicester in 2000. The band are Robyn Gibson (vocals), Joe Wiltshire (Guitar/Organ), Pete Gough (Guitar), Ash Selden (Bass) & Ben Marshall (Drums). They had begun recording demos at home & eventually recruited more members to showcase the songs live. 
In 2007 The Junipers signed to San Remo Records, a record label based in Wolverhampton ran by Felt guitarist Marco Thomas.

The Junipers recorded & released their debut album "Cut Your Key" in 2008. The album was self-produced & mainly recorded at The Junipers own studio in Leicester & partly at Magic Garden studios in Birmingham with Gavin Monhagon, known for his work with Kings Of Leon, The Editors & Ryan Adams. Three singles were pulled from the album, "Callooh Callay!", "Gordie Can’t Swim" & "So the Feeling Looms/Out My Pocket".
Cut Your Key received rave reviews from the likes of Uncut Magazine, The Word & Record Collector. "Callooh Callay!" Was named single of the week on BBC Radio 2 & all three singles gained airplay on Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music from dj's, Bob Harris, Steve Lamacq, Mark Radcliffe and Janice Long, among others. The band played two live sessions for Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music that year & the following year.
The band began recording their follow up to Cut Your Key in 2011.
The Junipers second album "Paint the Ground" was released by the band themselves on 22 February 2012, again receiving rave reviews.
"Paint the Ground" was followed by an EP release in 2013 under the moniker of Euphonious Trolley, a sideline for the bands more poppy material.

The Pinecones are a power pop trio featuring Brent Randall, Paul Linklater and Marshall Bureau. Randall and Linklater, both used to working on their own, have teamed up to co-write a repertoire of classic pop songs focusing on their mutual love of smart chord changes, bouncy melodies, two part harmony and chimey guitars.

The Pinecones are set to release their third album, "Ooh!" It's an upbeat rockin' little record, full of 2 minute singalong dittes that capture the fun of their live format and showcase their timeless writing style and knack for mega-hooks. Beginning as "Brent Randall & his Pinecones" in Halifax, Randall and a talented crew of Pinecones released a lush soft piano pop record "We Were Srangers in Paddington Green" in 2009. In 2010 with a move to Toronto, the group teamed up with Paul Linklater and released the lo-fi 60's psych pop "Sage" as a slimmed down garagy four piece renamed The Pinecones. After losing two members, Randall & Linklater toured Canada & the U.S. as a duo before nabbing drummer extraordinaire Marshall Bureau. Now, the trio of ragamuffins sound fuller, more exciting and polished than ever before thanks to Linklater's impressive guitar work, Randall's melodic bass playing, Bureau's studied percussion and of course their characteristic harmonies.
