Rodolfo Planes offered me this great arrangement and suggested the title of 'Professional Liars' as a starting point. I changed the title to Career Liars as it scanned better with the melody and although we didn’t discuss the subject closely we both had our own ideas who these usual suspects might be. You all may also have your own choices other than these potential ‘Comeback Kids’. 

This was first written in 2022, but has developed gradually over the last two years with Ce Mastro’s spectacular chorus harmony arrangement lifting the song to astonishing new heights, then lastly Georg’s additional sax work giving a renewed energy and power. Thanks to everyone for their valued collaboration on this. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

One of my favorite songs is "The Job That Ate My Brain" by the Ramones. This song has nothing in common with that one, except that the process of making it could be described as "The Song That Ate My Brain." It took far too long to create, and as usual, there's no way of knowing if it was worth it or not. The intro is a remnant from a song written in 2022, but now “Spy Film” is complete in its entirety. It will be available on other platforms in June. Thanks in advance for everyone who takes a moment to check it out. /TQB

This song began with Artur inviting me onto a project that he and Hakan had just started that consisted of the beat and a synth line—the one that opens the song—supplied by Hakan.
  I added my five string fretless bass to it first, coming up with an idea of how it could sound. Then, I asked Tez to get in on it, too, because Tez not only has an affinity for the genre, but an aptitude for it, as well. After Tez laid down his hot guitar, I went back and played his idea, but accounted for Tez's jamming, too, this time. After the basic tracks were done, Artur brought his vibrato/delay guitar magic to the jam, too. Then, I added the various synth voices that you hear throughout. ​
  Every great song needs a great producer, and Tez was the man for this job. He brought it all together and used our various parts like a conductor uses different parts of a symphony. This is the fist song that Tez and I have done with Hakan. Artur and he are musical partners, so if you dig this song, you would probably like what's on their pages, too. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.
