Only human artifacts are left, scattered across a freshly ploughed field. At first they appear as disturbances. Dj bingo aka Ninja Priest is a Brno(CZ)-based producer and a DJ. Oscillating between soft cute melodies and epic EDM kicks, his contrasting music appeared on compilations by BCAAsystem, Unizone, Soft or Swine World. The upcoming EP to be released on BCAAsystem is a sensitive conceptual walk through buzzing of distorted space-time, an uncanny landscape that’s always there yet beyond our grasp.

KLUSĀ DABA - Les Fleurs du mal

The ever-reliable London label welcome Montreal artist, laced, who delivers a dreamy cut of sugar-coated rainbow electronics, including a remix from fellow Canadian SIM.

As she closed her eyes she watched colours bleed into one another. They were so vivid she could feel them pour over her face and down her neck. She pictured how it would look. As a deep scarlet filled her ear and a rich blue licked her neck, she too found herself melting into colour.

Caustic Reverie is a 4-track EP which combines the warmth of highly-processed synthesised sounds with harshness of percussive instrumentation in a sunshine-doused exploration of depth and texture. Crisp blips, swishes and tiny twangs tempt the touch, creating a soundscape at once futuristic and psychedelic: not a far cry from the music of foodman or Smerz.
 
On the title track, vibrant synth plucks reverberate around a cavernous space, warming the atmosphere before mutating into a broken techno rhythm. Bolstered by low-end hits and peppered with Jessy Lanza-esque vocal chops, this one’s a real treat for the ears.

The 40th release of katharsis is the EP “Life is Hard” by Malle Voss coming out on April 10th. Following up on his debut release “Death is Easy” on Blue Tapes from 2022, the artist expands his musical pilgrimage into pure and spiritual affection in chaotic and dark territory. By using emotion in a structural way, the 6 tracks portray deep truths of overcoming struggle and turning nonsense into meaning. The tracks work like dark botanical angel artifacts, each with its rituals and prayers of death motivation and enlightenment through hardship. The range of sentiments covers everything from both beauty and joy to aggression and ecstasy, in its messy-by-design style of maximalist minimalism.

hello world! I'm so stoked to share my first EP as bad opera. 'bad art' features 5 tracks with my atmospheric and musical spin on footwork, jungle, breaks, and a little bit of IDM for good measure. This is a sound I've been pursuing for a long time, and after many experiments, studies, and learnings, I'm excited to have something that I feel is finally ready to share with the world.

We are tickled pink to be announcing this top draw bit of tackle from label affiliate Troy Gunner with a killer Herron remix to boot. After his contribution to Unperson’s remix plate it felt right to ask him to put his shin pads on and wade into a 4 tracker. This EP sees Troy traverse a multitude of tempos and forms, using foreboding sonics and clattering percussion to create feelings of pure angst aswell as elation and we can’t wait to hear these in a club setting. Big love to Charlie Maclagan on the art and JGD on the design as per.
