The crystal shone brightly under the spotlight of the glass chamber. It sad proudly at the end of the long hall, the museums prized piece. For decades they had waited to display such a delicate stone, one of such power, importance and might. Kings and queens throughout the ages had sought its presence amidst their collection of jewels but none had triumphed over its great defender, its ruler. It was bound to only one, and now in the place where he was born it sat perched in his corridor. The museum was open, the crystal was alive. 
Here is the latest release from the Honey Soundsystem camp in full. It features remixes from Mike Servito and Gunnar Haslam.

Go March are an instrumental group based in Antwerp, Belgium. It is a new project born out of jam sessions that have resulted in their debut single ‘Rise’, an electronic, Germanic-infused, post-rock screamer that is a sort of Mogwai meets Kraftwerk synthesis yet with all the futuristic propulsions of a new, fresh and hungry band making music not just for 2015 but for beyond.

This release comes with a series of remixes from Psychemagik, Shigeto, Peaking Lights and Dreems who all add their own indistinguishable imprint on the track, unpacking and expanding it to take it across a range of sounds and tones that weave from ambient dub to club floor filler.

After collaborating with Lane 8 on a track on the upcoming album, Matthew Dear takes to his notorious Audion guise to remix ‘Ghost’, following remixes for legendary acts like Leftfield, Four Tet, Dubfire and Seth Troxler. Completely twisting the mood of the original, cutting the vocal over a frenetic groove he delivers a gnarly late-night techno cut.

Mosco fell asleep and awoke days later with Red Axes. This is their joint offering for the ESP Institute. Dikembe Manutu, the fictional character who’s name gives title to our thumping A side, establishes a lush theme based on meandering steel drums and reverberating toms while a slew of rich percussion leads us through the jungle on a melodic galloping bassline. Once this deep groove gets us rolling, we’re treated to a variety of twinklling melodies that float high above. On side B, Rage In The Cage is a true live drum machine jam, full of bleeps, detuned toms, abrasive cymbals, and plenty of left turns. We can only imagine the mood in the studio as these three old friends frantically smacked buttons and tweaked knobs, creating happy accidents and loving every menacing moment of chaos as they stirred this cauldron. These two songs will make you thirst for exotic nectars.

Burly, UK-styled rave tackle from Berlin’s Phon.O for Tectonic after spending the last few years exploring subsets of garage-techno on 50 Weapons. Clearly carving towards Tectonic’s ruder ‘floor criteria, he plays out the dank, shadow-boxing 2-step drums and swooping subs of Mercurial next to the aggier grime slap of U8 Phunk for the Berlin scallies, and yokes some splintered breaks into a submerged jungle-techno chassis with Bell Blender.

As a kid growing up in Illinois' tucked-away capital of Springfield, Justin Cudmore played the drums at home and in school as a jazz percussionist. In his college days Justin dove into electronic music, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing parties. Currently, Justin is a fixture across Brooklyn, popping up on dance floors and behind booths, where he has spun records at his Hotmix parties along with Mike Servito and Gunnar Haslam. 

“Crystal” is Cudmore’s debut 12” single. Raw, rough and ready to rumble, “Crystal” marries snaking acid lines and bouncy grooves to a sample from cult underground film classic 'The Queen'.  On the flip is Detroit-bred and Bunker resident DJ Mike Servito’s “730 Reshape”, that gives the wiggly worm vibe harkening back to the early days of Transmat, Warp and the minimalism of Dan Bell's DBX project. L.I.E.S. mainstay Gunnar Haslam provides his “Dekalb Avenue Remix” made while living in New York, a modular synth cruise with the top down. All tracks have been mastered and EQed for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley and labels are as pink as Crystal’s lipstick.

Since we're not going to include this version on the March 11th Organized Nature/Armada re-release of "Tracking Treasure Down Revisited" we thought it would be a great idea to reward you, the fans with it to help celebrate our now 60,000+ strong Facebook community.

It was made specifically for our compilation "Mixed for Feet, Vol 1" which came out in August 2011. It was made entirely on the road on laptop speakers in hotel rooms. We never had a chance to properly mix it down in a studio.
