It’s been seven years since the Grammy Award-winning British folk-rock band released their fourth studio album, 2018’s ‘Delta.’ They recorded ‘Rushmere’ with producer Dave Cobb in RCA’s historic Studio A in Nashville. The track “Truth” grew out of a guitar riff that materialized between takes, says Ben Lovett: “The song kind of fell out of the sky.” For bassist Ted Dwane, “Caroline” is “probably the highlight” of the new album. As the traveler ambled through the crisp air of early spring, he noticed the earth awakening; buds unfurled from branches, and pushy daffodils broke through the frost like joyful children racing into a party. A revelation struck him like a gust of fresh wind: he felt more steadfast than a tree rooted in rich soil, stronger than his own self-doubt, realizing that this path—one filled with wandering, wonder, and the occasional misstep—was irrevocably his. Challenging decisions once made in trepidation now felt like playful leaps into puddles of possibility. As he watched a butterfly dance past, he couldn't help but chuckle at how absurdly easy it had been to forget the beauty that thrived in change, each petal and leaf echoing his own healing transformation. Embracing a newfound enthusiasm, he laughed into the sun, knowing there was no turning back, but with every step forward, a brighter tomorrow awaited, bursting with life and potential.

Radondo connects the dots between Italo Disco, EBM and experimental rock within his productions. Incorporating subtle nods to post-punk and dystopian cinema, the UK-born artist creates a map of his influences, weaving compelling narratives in the process. 

The Berlin-based artist has built a versatile sound within the Italian Dance Wave movement, garnering a swift reputation for his take on the genre. His progressive DJ sets have seen him quickly become a prevalent figure within Berlin's scene, playing regular slots at venues such as Renate and becoming a resident at the revered Slow Motion Records parties. With a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Discotexas, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files, he merges arcane soundscapes with ethereal, analogue synth lines illuminating ever-growing sonic threads.

As a remixer, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the greats. He has remixed the likes of Senor Chugger, Justin Strauss, and Moullinex, tying in a fascination with the darker realms of Italo Disco. Radondo creates a compelling atmosphere filled with tantalising nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

Medicine 8 are back. The project of brothers Liam and Luke May started around 30 years ago in their South London stomping ground.

Their sound, which blended electro and acid house with rock sensibilities, saw the pair release a healthy string of records all the way through to the late noughties, along with a handful of remixes for the likes of Orbital, Manic Street Preachers, Nirvana and pop royalty Kylie Minogue.

Medicine 8 has been lying dormant over the last decade but Liam and Luke have been keeping themselves busy in the interim. As well as running Trashmouth Records - the label responsible for bringing you Fat White Family, MEATRAFFLE and Warmduscher - the pair have been keeping the hardware dream alive with Decius, the sleazy acid house outfit they founded alongside Paranoid London’s Quinn Whalley and Lias Saudi, long running label mate and frontman of the Fat Whites.

In April the duo marked their first new music since 2016 with a remix of May Lavie’s ‘The Poem’ for our R$N sub-label Human Endeavour. The request from label boss Rosie Ama has now jerked the project back into action and, since the release of the remix, the pair have got back in the studio under the moniker and are now giving Decius tracks a Medicine 8 make over. Looks like this won’t be the last we’ll be seeing of the project…

To celebrate this triumphant return, boy have we got a treat for you. Luke and Liam have kindly put together a two-hour long 100% Medicine 8 production mix, packed with tracks from the archive, unreleased music, banging remixes and new releases...
