Cabezas’ new EP “Raya” is a distillation of the conversations that have shaped him over the last decade. From the Danceteria-ready sheen of “Madonna” to the nocturnal-italo pulse of “Sergio”, Cabezas covers a wide swath of sonic ground, starting in almost-familiar places and spiraling out into the unknown. 

This is Cabezas’ second EP, following up his 2018 Börft Records release Mi Calle. 

Born in Chile and living in Sweden, Patricio Cabezas is a multi-talented musician/producer. After years as a touring bass player, he re-com- mitted himself to electronic music, trading his pickups for a circuit board in search of the boundaries of sound. 

Since childhood Cabezas has thrown himself into the in-between. With a life of hybrid timezones, cultures and identities, his approach to music is similarly liminal. Driven by discovery and experimentation, Cabezas hybridizes genres, themes and instrumentation to create electronic music that lives on the edge, built for the mains, headphones and everywhere in between.

After releasing multiple singles in the past, Istanbul based DJ and producer https://soundcloud.com/innerbofficial is making his return with his debut EP. It has been two years since the last time he released a track and this time he has a lot to tell about his past experiences. During this period, he moved to Istanbul from Manchester. Inner B. wants to bring both cities’ cultural spectrum into one imaginary bowl. He wants to experience once again what both cities have taught him in his journey.

This four track EP contains cosmic and euphoric sounds from head to toe. While the first track is welcoming you to the EP with choir pads, the second track invites you to move forward with synth arpeggios. The third track is just a great way to say goodbye to the storyline, which comes alive with 303 bass line. The final track of the EP is a remix by Met Blue, which hits hard enough to finish with a bang!

Lopazz takes the credit for mastering while Taha Oztas is on design duties.

The Gun Well Street are pleased to present The Gun Aid LP. 14 tracks that perfectly encapsulate the sound of one of too many guinnesses underneath the neon lights late into the evening. The kind of leftfield jams we love, be it techno, house, dub, EBM or industrial. An eclectic bunch of oddballs, just like our regulars.

Many of our nearest and dearest have donated songs, including Daniel Avery, Nitzer Ebb, Roisin Murphy, Andy Bell (as GLOK), and The 2 Bears’ Raf Rundell. We’ve got the first ever track from Mister Deltoid, the brand new project by Nathan Gregory Wilkins & Paranoid London’s Quinn Whalley. Ivan Smagghe and C.A.R. make up I.C.A.R. Body Hammer’s Scott Fraser, Richard Sen, Cherrystones, Nuphonic’s Dave Hill & the Ballistic Brothers as Soul Revivers, Arveene Juthan & Shamon Cassette as Bon Voyage, Skylab with Cecile Loyez, and our very own Mondowski are all on board. Design work, as ever, by Rusty. We’d like to thank everyone involved not just for their contributions, but for their continued support and friendship.

The Gun isn’t just a music venue, it’s very much a community pub in-fact, of all the artists on the tracklist, only Roisin hasn’t DJed there (yet). A year of disastrous Tory policy in the face of a global pandemic and things have never been so tough, but that doesn’t just go for us. It goes for the entire community. As such, proceeds from this project will be split between keeping the pub afloat, and to be donated to local families via charity Hackney Quest. Hackney Quest are a local charity who have worked with The Gun in coordinated projects, such as organising an anti-racism street festival on Well Street over the last few years.

All bandcamp pre-orders will also receive digital downloads of tracks from Jorge Velez and Toresch which have never been released digitally before.

(A) Good Friday basis is the day before, Holy Thursday. And both days are seemingly to become good days as Jennifer Touch releases her first ever self-release EP on her Bandcamp-page. The artist, who's originally home in Berlin, has been residing in Brighton for a few months now to work in the FatCat Studio and, according to Jen, "found a fresh perspective on music and life." Latter is something inevitable, probably even more challenging in these times, to create or come up with new ways to produce music and the connected creative process. However, the always and forever Riotvan family member, shares three new tracks with her audience under the EP's working title Moon In Aries. While the entire EP will be available on the before mentioned Good Friday, the take Nails And Fails is ready for your listening pleasure by now. The track is an experimental IDM-influenced excursion into Jennifer's current artistic state of mind, with bubbling chords and the artist's catchy voice, whispering singing speaking her way throughout the track and generating an atmosphere as well as vibe that crawls into one's mind (at night).

Life had become nomadic; they travelled from place to place, finding shelter for a day or two before moving on to new climes. It wasn't the life they'd chosen for themselves, but they had no choice in the matter. This existence had been forced upon them by powers far much greater than their own; now their only mission was finding a safe space to inhabit.

Milanese label Nothing Is Real took a brief interlude from showcasing what Italy's fertile music scene has to offer with their 'Made In Mexico' compilation earlier this year, and now they return their attention to their stomping ground through the sounds of Gabriele Lori, aka Astroloop. Marking his debut solo outing, following collaborations on Freerange Records, the three original tracks touch on several sonic influences—from hypnotic house to mid-tempo grooves and driving synthwave—and are bolstered by a remix from Mexican producers Theus Mago and Moisees.

Freeride Millenium label co-founder Jorkes quickly follows up his well received Wet Dream EP with a new five tracker including remixes from Younger Than Me and Curses.

Jorkes is the driving force behind the ever-excellent Freeride Millenium label, he hosts a residency at radio 80000 alongside ParisBöhm and has been busy producing and streaming over the last year, despite the pandemic. His recent ‘Wet Dreams’ release was a critical success, with BBC radio support, a raft of press coverage and a mass of DJ support, now he follows that up with this latest inventive and rugged EP of club sounds.

Opener 'All Your Juices' has snappy snares and a taught, tight groove that makes for a mechanical rhythm. It eventually grows looser with big synth sounds and vamping chords that layer in fluidly and a great sense of electronic funk. Remixers Younger Than Me are a Berlin based duo that represents a link between the old and the new. They have released on the likes of Tusk Wax and here flip the original into a dark and pulsing tune with hammering drums and edgy, trance influenced synths.

In original form, 'Dancer in the Dark' has a kinetic drum and hit combination that makes you immediately jerk your body. As the synth energy grows, celestial chords bring light and cosmic rays and take you off into the future. Dark disco don Curses then steps up with another brilliantly rugged and raw remix that layers sleazy synths into angular drums. Finally, the brilliant 'Afraid of Letting You Go' has an eerie and mysterious vibe with crashing hits and unsettling synths that make for a dystopian abandoned warehouse feel.

Once again here Jorkes has cooked up left of centre sounds that draw on synth, disco and techno in bold new ways. Artwork as always comes from the ever creative Daniel Rajcsanyi.

There were always two sides to every story — whether you heard them both was another question. Whoever got there first generally had the upper hand anyway, anything that followed was subject to much more interrogation. Suspicion shrouded every fact and figure, speculation veered the conversation away from the matter at hand; you never get any closer to knowing the real truth. 

At just 19 years old, Utrecht-based producer Ineffekt's productions far belie his years. After making his debut last year on Dutch label Intercept with his 'Solaris' EP, he makes his return for his first ever long player, which retains the distinctive rhythms and warm subs we heard on his debut, but this time dives deeper into playful and euphoric melodies. A vibrant and colourful wash of synths, dreamy vocal snippets and fuzzy percussion; the 10 tracks on 'Kora' each have their own unique flavour and groove.
