So, sit back and ready yourself for some inimitable Froid Dub cuts; laid back but pounding, graceful yet aggressive but above all, thoroughly danceable.

First single On The Nose enters next, with a delightfully soft, round bass that feels like bouncing around a padded room. Inside a Zorb. On MDMA. More echoed, analogue motifs dart from left to right, confirming with strong conviction that our chaps from Paris put the Dub in Indubitably Fantastic.

“Maraú” is believed to be of indigenous origin, specifically from the Mayra people of Brazil. The name Marau refers to a rascal or nonconformist, also linked to an indigenous chief who fought against European settlers.

Blurring the lines between new and old school, Marau is on a parallel search for organic, tribal, and hypnotic rhythms — drawing on his cultural background ingredients that span from Western Europe to North Africa and the Mediterranean flavours. He is a multidisciplinary designer, musician, and DJ who inhabits spaces where eclectic, atypical collaborations ignite and stories entwine.

We are a Cologne based DJ and Animation practice, celebrating the energy of our musical socialization with a sound ranging from 80s low-fi disco reminiscences to electro & techno.
The repertoire recruits a wide spectrum of music, whose eccentricity gives the tracks an iconic identity.
RuidoRuido's rhythm results from breaks in style and tempo, celebrating cultural provenance & zeitgeist and paying homage to escalation with minimalist opulence.
