The micro history of the macro sesh in Glasgow's best worst kept secret - think the Hermetic Order;cultic hazing and rites-des-passage featuring smoke machines, strangers on E and Wully Dee, with a heavy hit of local lore and galactic luminaries. Motorway mythology, no smoking outside - it was unforgettable, if, of course you remember.
This one is out to the city beneath, just out of sight but always in mind.

The plan had been carefully masterminded, every detail scrutinised and every minute accounted for. It had taken months of preparation to get to this point but they were finally ready. It would all go down tonight under the veil of darkness, a stealthy getaway in the shadows. The rewards would be huge, but the consequences... Well, they preferred to keep them out of mind.

For their fifth release, following EPs from SC-164 and The 15 Dead Minutes, London-based imprint Subapical call on Art Mechanical regular Junq. The fellow Londoner has been producing for almost two decades, taking his productions to labels like Wandering Soul, Further Electronix and Revoke. Now he makes his debut on Subapical, with three tracks that continue to carry the label's mantle for electro-driven sounds.

Nobody's life was perfect but he started to think he'd been dealt a far worse hand than many others. Several toxic relationships, a myriad of lost jobs and unsuccessful opportunities, not to mention the countless mishaps, had seemed to be the dish of the day since his youth. Luck had never been on his side and things just didn't seem to go his way; he'd come to terms with living with it after all these years. 

Previously shrouded in mystery, Brother Nebula is the moniker of dance music veteran Lance Desardi who, over the last few years, has crafted cosmic and atmospheric breaks and house. He made his debut on Legwork back in 2018 with a collaborative EP alongside Solar, before quickly following it up with his first solo releases on the same label. Last year saw him land on Nick Höppner's Touch From A Distance, but now he makes a triumphant return to Legwork once again for The Physical World, an album of retro-futurist and interstellar electronics.
