Exclusive Sebjak & Fahlberg '4Ever She May Live (DJ Koze Edit)'

Scandinavian producers Sebastian Jak and Alexander Fahlberg, short Sebjak and Fahlberg, team up again to deliver one of ADE's most talked about tunes, '4Ever She May Live', that comes in a DJ Koze Edit and has been played out by various luminaries. After EPs on Jonas Rathmann's Element Series, Sebjak's own label Bibliotheque Records or MoBlack Records, the Stockholm based producers return to the latter bringing Hamburg's finest DJ Koze along who turns the original take into an almost nine minute lasting journey by implementing filters to emphasize the raw euphoric club experience. The extraordinary producer who basically turns or can adjust any given track to a catchy musical piece again shows his musical genius stretching the basic melodic loop to an audible unmistakable maximum, or just the right amount of bars to give the vocal its moments to unfold in-between. After his rework of Gerry Read's 'It'll All Be Over', which was a summer's festival season favorite, on Pampa, DJ Koze now comes in with a more raw, more dark but equally danceable tune for the autumn/ winter run.

Exclusive Jac The Disco 'Cosmic Matter (Prins Thomas Remix)'

Londoner Jay Rossi, better known under his Jac The Disco moniker, delivers the first EP of his newly and co-founded label Spin On This'. 'Cosmic Matters', the title of the label's debut EP, comes with two original tracks, 'Cosmic Matters' and 'Bali Dance', as well as two remixes from two of the scene's most iconic producers, namely I:Cube and Prins Thomas. While French legend I:Cube took on remix duties for 'Bali Dance', Prins Thomas reworks the EP's title track. The Norwegian producer turns the orginal take into an eight minute lasting journey of blissful and mental sound-experiences paired with a lush bass line that's basically rolling out the red carpet for the varying synths and percussions to walk the path and transport the listener to a mental state of mind that hits closest to the imagination of reaching fulfillment in sound spheres and niches.

Jac The Disco's EP 'Cosmic Matter' was released on Spin On This on December 2nd, 2019.

We're delighted to announce the return of the vinyl-only Substance Select! Volume 2 in the series, sees SWS turn its attention to Bella Technika...

Born out of the ashes of Darkwood Dub, one of the Balkans’ most revered alternative rock bands during the ‘90s/’00s, Bella Technika is the latest project of Bojan Drobac, the group’s guitarist and main songwriter. Joined by former bandmate bass player Milorad Ristić as well as opera singer Katarina Jovanovic, amongst others, Bojan has found a new direction with Bella Technika.

Bella Technika join forces with Super Weird Substance for Substance Select Vol.2, which features three remixes and an original production from the band’s debut ‘Section’ LP, released last year.

Lee Perry AKA Peza, true to form, has provided a jacking, acid fuelled reimagining of ‘I Feel Light’. Alongside Sara Lucas’ primal vocal it evokes the halcyon days of house music.

For their fifth release, following EPs from SC-164 and The 15 Dead Minutes, London-based imprint Subapical call on Art Mechanical regular Junq. The fellow Londoner has been producing for almost two decades, taking his productions to labels like Wandering Soul, Further Electronix and Revoke. Now he makes his debut on Subapical, with three tracks that continue to carry the label's mantle for electro-driven sounds.
