Melbourne based producer GREETINGS heads up Boots & Legs – an Italo focused label whose aesthetics float somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow – releasing records from Furor Exótica, Kayroy and more, and now he readies his Running Out Of Steam debut with four house and electro-fused dreamscapes.

Staying true to the label aesthetic of blending killer club grooves with introspective atmospherics, ‘ALONE’ is a cut of trance-licked house, M1 chords providing a disco-ball euphoria across the minimal, yet vibrant, soundscape. ‘Desires’ sees GREETINGS blend his admiration for Italo into a heavenly, 80s pop-ballroom experience designed for when the lights go on.

The B-side brings out the producer's electro influence; ‘That Was A Weird Summer’ is as Italo as it is otherworldly – a sound similar to what might be heard if aliens discovered disco – before ‘Don’t Die Wondering’ closes the curtain with a cut of stirring and transcendental analog-electro that's as rough as it is smooth.

Control Freak co-founder @customerdjservice returns to the label with his second EP, 'Amygdala'. As both a DJ and producer, Customer Service thrives in a genre-defying nether zone - rooted in familiar dancefloor grooves, but with a distinctive, off kilter sense of rhythm and melody that instantly mark his productions out.

With previous music supported from the likes of Ben UFO, upsammy, Tom Ravenscroft, Solid Blake, dBridge, re:ni and more, this record follows the thread of previous Customer Service releases, exploring deep, trippy and murky textures rooted in techno & electro soundscapes. Rounding off the record, @pugilistmusic remixes 'Lean Forward', adding a murky, broken groove to the detailed textures of the original, and Customer Service collaborates with CF cofounder @finnaman on closing track Useless Knowledge.

Wandering through the club he looked at all the people and faces which danced and swayed beside him. It were as if they were all in some sort of collective haze or dream. Their movements were synchronised and furious - in time with the beat of a marching drum. Fog filled the air as it grew louder and louder.

He wondered whether it might always be like this, if they might never stop swaying. Would people tell stories and chronicles of such nights in years gone by. He hoped it might one day mean something to someone.

It still grew louder and louder.
