Long running Manchester and Berlin based party 'Lost Control, ’' who hold a NTS residency under the same name run by Black Eyes, bring us the new label Lost Control 2097. 
 
Kicking things off with the ‘Come on Let’s Get It’ EP from Cygnus. Label Boss Matthew Jesus says - “The label itself is our new extension of the portal from the 7th dimension. Specialising in plasma house, sub-aquatic electro and cyber techno all brought back from the year 2097. The first EP is from Texan electro legend Cygnus. We don't need to explain how good he is. We just hope you enjoy the ride of cyber soul at its deadliest. There's even a tribute track to the city of Manchester where Lost Control was born. The vinyl colour is inspired by the acid blood of the xenomorphs from the Alien movies, meaning it's translucent fluorescent yellow.”

The record is mastered by Dutch synth genius Rude 66 and will be released on both Physical and Digital formats.

First solo album from Budapest producer "Norwell", includes 2 collaborations with Farbwechsel Label head honcho "Alpar". Analogue synthwave, kraut, kosmische, drone... A real journey! Illúzió was inspired by the book "Mr. Vertigo" by Paul Auster and especially by this part:

"Deep down, I don't believe it takes any special talent for a person to lift himself off the ground and hover in the air. We all have it in us every man, woman, and child--and with enough hard work and concentration, every human being is capable of...the feat.... You must learn to stop being yourself. That's where it begins, and everything else follows from that. You must let yourself evaporate. Let your muscles go limp, breathe until you feel your soul pouring out of you, and then shut your eyes. That's how it's done. The emptiness inside your body grows lighter than the air around you. Little by little, you begin to weigh less than nothing. You shut your eyes; you spread your arms; you let yourself evaporate. And then, little by little, you lift yourself off the ground. Like so."

 Based in Budapest, Norwell, named Balazs Semsei, has made his mark as a producer in the recent years with his releases on Mechatronica, Pinkman, Lobster Theremin, Umwelt’s New Flesh Recordings, or the Budapest based Dalmata Daniel which Helena Hauff selected as her favorite record of 2017.

Besides his electro releases he also made his mark in the last couple of years by diving into the realms of 70s Kosmiche music to collect its wonders and knowledge to present them in a brand new light. Norwell’s kosmische releases have also emerged on Farbwechsel, Reckno, Seagrave, Beachcoma Recordings and Shabu Recordings.

Norwell blends an astute use of grainy analogue synths textures to modern electronic music structures to create a sound that resonates with every nooks and crannies of the human body.

“After a couple of years of making rather dancefloor oriented music i wanted to get rid of drums for at least a couple of songs. However I didn't want to do ambient. I was looking for something that was there in all my music from my earlier works to the recent electro. This is probably the kosmische sound which is highly influenced by the great krautrock scene but still re-interpreted in some ways.”

You might know Alpár as Balint Zalkai; the man behind the Farbwechsel label and 50% of SILF. Alpár’s sound focuses on synthwave, kraut and kosmische inspired analogue-driven ambient-like compositions. He had several releases on labels like Jjfunhouse or SicSic Tapes.

They are friends since childhood and started to write music during university together. They always shared their new experiences regarding digital and analog synths & hardwares and tried to learn from each other.

They used to record several tracks together every year and these 2 songs featured in Illúzió LP were born during a 2 days long jamming session a couple of years ago.

Each day, just before the warm hues of dusk melted across the sky, he rose from his slumber to take to the mountains. The fresh morning air opened his lungs, juddering him from the haze that controlled these waking moments. Day by day he changed his path, hoping to discover something he'd never seen before; that was what got him out of bed every morning.

Born in the medieval city of Fribourg, Switzerland, Rababoo is a new record label helmed by friends Emmanuel Küng aka OneFootStep & Nicola Marthaler aka Oase. For their first outing, they've invited former local producer Marcel de Sie—one half of new wave and chanson duo, Reymour—to take care of proceedings with 'UMA', his debut EP under this alias. Made up of three original tracks, complete with remixes from Dark Entries alumni Anatolian Weapons and Stroom affiliate Victor De Roo, the release draws from industrial, techno, minimal synth and coldwave, exploring different dance floor narratives.

"Out with the old and in with the new" - that's what they always say. But it's never that easy in practice. The transition is always strange: it's a period of change, sometimes of destruction, definitely of adjustment. Morphing from one form slowly into the next, prompted by actions of your own doing, or someone elses. Things are going to be different and, unwilling or willing, you have to deal with it.

Having been immersed in music culture from a young age, becoming hooked on collecting records as well as training as a sound engineer, Italian DJ and producer David Agrella is now taking things up a notch with the launch of his new label, Agrellomatica Records. Named after his monthly radio show on Bloop, the imprint will be a space for his musical inspirations which bridge many different strains of electronic music. For his first outing he offers up a four tracker, 'Transition', which melds together fluid drum patterns, rubbery synth lines, soaring pads and dreamy electro grooves.

The noise echoed and bounced between the walls of the large, empty warehouse. It were as if the drums rioted and roared on repeat, ploughing onwards into the darkness of the abyss. From time to time a bright, flickering light illuminated the entirety of the space - the shadowy corners of this space were exposed for a brief second only to return to the dense black state they were before. From time to time he would hear a shout or a scream from some wild friend nearby, a nameless noise, a shot in the dark. 

Holger Zilske is set to release a new EP via AEONIC, a powerful EP set to cause damage in dark rooms. Holger himself describes the release as follows:

"Covid-19 and some major family issues made me focus on my inner-self and let me reflect my situation a lot. I wanted to do something more personal again. Something not just functional. ON REPEAT definitely has some Kraftwerk reminiscences. I combined the robot like vocals from a book reading app with my Juno 106, Roland 101 and 808 beats. A combination of very classic elements that created something to enjoy on a party, as well as at home.“

The EP comes with a crucial remix from techno artist Vril, who reworks the track 'On Repeat' into a wondrous electronic spectacle.
