The shopfront looked gloomy and mysterious in the streetlight. Dust sat layered in the windows and no light could be seen from within. The crew of revellers stood eagerly outside the door, a small queue had already begun to form behind them as they waited. Finally at midnight, the bolts were unlatched and it swung open. One at a time they were ushered inside and in the distance they could hear the sound of drums echoing. Below them there was a party underway, deep down in the basement, and they were going there.

Rather than focusing on Facebook and self promotion, Luke D'Angelo spends his time digging and embracing him self in house music.
A warm up DJ specialist, he has set the mood and warmed up directly before the likes of Dimitri From Paris, Groove Armada, Steve 'Silk' Hurley, Norman Jay, Derrick Carter, and Pete Tong to name just a few. No ego involved, just rock solid performances every time, building the tension of any room perfectly for the headline artist.
Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Luke D'Angelo is one of Australia's most respected and revered disc jockeys who has built a reputation based on what many often promise to deliver yet seldom achieve; despite having no productions under his name, Luke D'Angelo is the DJ's DJ.
His outstanding programming, ability to read a crowd, and versatility spearheaded D'Angelo as one of the pioneering figure heads in the Melbourne house scene since the early 2000's.
He has held DJ residencies everywhere from Seven to One Love, and more recently his affiliation with Melbourne powerhouse event company Funf he has lead him to closing sets after Felix da House cat and has also played along side Soul Clap, Eats Everything, Louisahhhh!!! and Maelstrom.
