Olimpiada Records have been kind enough to share Pines in the Sun - Zig Zag Sea, an EP which evokes the ocean to the point where you can almost taste salt in your mouth when you listen to it. Sun is the lead cut and opens with a meditative chant which is later joined in quite kindly by laidback disco sounds which set an irresistable tone before giving way to warm and life affirming guitar tones. 
Uj Pa Gaz and Olsi's new project is clearly here to bring the solar rays, the breeze and the distant sound of the waves through our ears and into our souls... Just make sure you bring a towel. Out July 11th on digital format.

There was a weight which pressed firmly inside his chest, it was heavy and dense leaving him dizzy and confused. How could it be that he had this little left? He had never once imagined that he might be the one crawling through the undergrowth, all alone, whilst the rich and the wealthy watched on with little care and disregard. Once upon a time he had been like them, almost equal in fact. He'd thought that he would have it all and that his reality was destined for the glory and fame of a bygone age. Now he was much like any other, a pauper and a sinner. 

Pletnev is set to release a new EP on Feines Tier - an interesting, oddball affair which challenges the preconceptions and limitations of modern day house music. The release is rounded off by a remix from Ana Helder - a well rounded release which comes highly recommended.

The second release of Crowhunt Records is made by Fabio Me Llaman Soltero from Guatemala , a titule track "Secreto Infiel" somewhere between dark/new wave and electronic disco. "FMLLS" more techno vibes with vocals from Sofi Diaz, to end your set with loud sub frequencies.

Volcan La Pété, the hedonist experimental music band from Lille, makes its official debut on Fauna Rêve. It couldn't be in a more suited way: they are also opening the catalogue of the Mexico City based, deviant dance music newly born label.

Two fantastic original psycho-paranoid chuggy cuts are the main course, while Mexico resident Shubostar and chilean producer Ricardo Tobar elegantly take charge of remix duties respectively.

PRÈMIÉRE: Volcan La Pété - Bronze [Fauna Rêve]

We have the pleasure of premiering one of the tracks from the debut release of the 3 Fantasmas, the bizarre side of producers Luciano Carestia (aka Lucare/SXDNS175) and Mariano Cirone, two Argentinians lost in the beautiful city of Oaxaca, Mexico. The project is the result of a number of rehearsals and experimentations with new sounds, navigating amidst beer, coconuts and random repetitions.

“Espíritu Maya Mi”, the first EP of the duo, is the result of a year or so of collaborations after the reunion of the two hermanos. They began promoting parties in Oaxaca with the intention of exploring the nightlife of their new and enigmatic home. And influenced by their new surroundings, the 3F emerged as a proposal that invites you to dance freely and without prejudice. With a peculiar aesthetic and a lot of ironic humour, hints of madness, colours, cumbia, and plenty of synthesizers, the project is devoted to bringing some spicy chaos during their live-set bashes. 

"Cumbia Vil", the track we chose to review, summarizes the real essence of the project. Despite its downtempo/Balearic mood, the intensity of the theme is mammoth, and the intended weirdness is there. The eerie FXs, the offbeat percussion and the whimsical lyrics (pasted below so that you can sing along, by the way) give you the big picture of the soul meant by the lads.
