Starting with "Lose My Life (Off The Wall Mix)" A shimmering more housey interpretation with subtle uplifting chords which was originally going to come out Aaron Carl's label; Wallshaker before his unfortunate passing away.  (We love you Aaron...Rest in peace)

"Lose My Life (Dark Bassline Dub)" Stays close to the original but as the title suggests, adds a new bassline that turns the already stunning original into a more dark and brooding Beatdown affair.

"Never Everything (Beatdownbient Mix)". A beautiful more subtly building rendition with atmospheric flourishes and quarky rhythms. Followed up by "Never Everything (2011 Lettin’ My Egun Dance Mix)" with an equally hypnotic but moodier version that adds a touch more rhythm, synths, and vocals. 

To round off this EP, Your Only Friend deliver a mellowed out Deep House rendition in „Never Everything (Your Only Friend Remix)“.

Hard Ton, Italy's extravagant duo of all things house music are back on Luv Shack Records, unleashing six steaming hot tracks on the "Queer Nation EP" - a precursor to the first full Hard Ton album that is due for 2017. "Queer Nation" has singer Max swapping his falsetto with a dark mangled voice, paying tribute to some essential queer icons over a dry acid house track that rejoices in repetition, and rightly so. "Classic Music" head-honcho and old timer Luke Solomon's remix of "Queer Nation" builds up an intense 707 drum pattern, underlining rhythm guitars and Max's voice, ending in a bold acid climax. Italian newcomers "Younger Than Me" also take on "Queer Nation", marrying an early 80's wave touch with a classic house approach. When Hard Ton pair up with ROTCIV, "Style Ga-Galore" awaits us. The cut up hushed vocals are thrown into a lush melange of filtered pad shots, a 303 bassline and a percussive house groove. "Yeah Yeah" featuring Moralez & Sames is an ode to early Detroit and Chicago house, with Max singing vigorously, syncopated hihats swirling and stabs nodding towards lil Louis. The final track is a LeSale disco dub of "The Way You Rock feat. Mirror People". LeSale strips the original drums completely, rearranging the vox, piano and synths to fit his disco workout edit style, adding a cheeky synth bassline to complete the boogie redress. “Over Paradise” is the second track taken from the forthcoming Echoes of Paradise EP on a brand new vinyl label out of Washington, D.C. by the name of Better Listen Records. It starts off with a bit of a filtered disco vibe as sampled female vocals are played over a groovy beat and bass while some keys gently loop in the back. A high string line amps up the anticipation and boy does it deliver as the track takes off into a jazz funk fueled jam. Led by a jazzy flute and super groovy bass, the main stretch of this tune makes it impossible to keep your feet still. Keep your eyes peeled for this EP as we expect this one to be a hot commodity with the release just around the corner!

It turns out that we've got a bit of a thing for Felix Dickinson here at THUMP. It seems like every so often the curly haired disco dude hovers into view and drops off a clubby care package that we tuck into with what can only be described as "gusto."

You might remember that a few months back we took you on a virtual tour to a no-longer-with-us New York night spot that served up a fantastic musical accompaniment to its allgedely fantastic pasta: La Mangiami!

You'll also remember that the reason we found ourselves writing about a restaurant where DJ Harvey and co served up meatballs and garlic bread to disco-hungry hedonists was that Golf Channel were putting out a compilation of tunes that were riotously low-slung chugging rollers. 

One of those riotously low-slung chugging rollers was "Let Me Rock You" by Dedication, AKA the ongoing collaboration of Japanese musicians and Western singers brought together by producer and DJ Felix Dickinson and Japanese artist Mikey Yamada. 

A piano-heavy cosmic number that rolls on and on into the most gorgeous reaches of the infinite, it's getting a re-release on Paul Murphy's incredible Claremont 56 label later this month. You don't have to wait till the 17th to hear it though, because, look, look down there, you can stream it here! Right now! Do it! Stream, stream, stream!

The voice echoed down the corridor. He could hear it from a mile away. In all honesty, now he came to think of it he could probably hear it from a hundred thousand miles away. He might as well be on another continent, the nagging would still somehow find a way to penetrate and torment his brain. He had heard about the trouble the noise had caused for others. They had been haunted, some had even gone mad they said. He had always hoped it would never be this bad but right now it was unbareable. 

Mike Simonetti & Ryan Parks have recently compiled a release called 'Harsh Riddims' which is set to be released by 2MR on Friday this week.

The possibility that one might die in the middle of nowhere was too haunting for many, no matter how stunning the burial. 

Peur Bleue return with yet more charm and lush sounds as they are set to release a new EP from Benoit B. His new EP, titled 'Tropico Timelexia', sees an enchanting take on house and soundscapes.

Something had happened. But our minds were too nebulized, our visions to blurry to remember what it was. When we stopped searching for our inner and outer selves in past tenses we eventually fully realized it was the future we had to sharpen our senses for. In the things that lay upon us, things that were bound to happen, we would find shelter. That universally necessitated shelter, which we could rely on, would give us possibilities to conquer unseen grounds to walk on. Only then we would find out it was not us envisioning this new land, but the land that envisioned us, that saw us firmly walking on its unspeakable grounds, allowing us to go wherever we could imagine ourselves to go to. We fly toward grace.

Rhytch is an artist based in Berlin. When we were originally approached by the label about featuring a track from his forthcoming LP 'Baba Ganoush' it was through a friend. It was quite the introduction and the record is an exciting prospect. Ancient Future Now, a label from Cologne, are set to release it.

All he had to do was walk forwards, disregarding their cries and the shock from those whom quite simply did not understand or know any better. Brando had risen. 

Axe Traxx return with their third release. This time they feature an array of talent including Kid Mark, Dj Pegasuz, FTPup and Fede LNG. However, it is the Ruff & Stax track which steals the show in our humble opinion.
