Corrupt Loop" de Dymso plonge l’auditeur dans un univers sombre et hypnotique, où les pulsations techno se mêlent à des atmosphères cyberpunk et apocalyptiques.
Avec ses basses profondes, ses rythmiques glitchées et ses textures saturées, le morceau explore la dérive d’un monde corrompu, enfermé dans une boucle sans fin où l’humain se perd dans la machine.
Underground , Corrupt Loop mélange tension, énergie brute et dystopie sonore.
Une expérience immersive, entre introspection et explosion électronique.

Corrupt Loop

Two sets of never-ending, towering concrete blocks faced off each other, alternating rhythmically to electric power transmission lines and large swathes of luxuriant green, that stretched out towards the sky and met to create domes of flora. Here, gigantic walking palms coexisted peacefully alongside barrigonas, huicungos and pallas, and many more trees, flowers and plants that offered shelter from the incessant, warm showers that graced the land and its terracotta paths on an almost daily basis. And beneath this humid undergrowth, a quiet but vibrant array of creatures lived amongst the ungurahuis and rubber trees; most of the fauna opted for a nocturnal lifestyle that dimmed their exotic colours and allowed them to showcase their diverse vocal abilities without being seen. 

Gottwax, the record label arm of Wales-own Gottwood Festival, returns after four years with a 30-track compilation that evokes the spirit of the music festival. Featuring electronic stalwarts such as Roman Flügel, DJ Tennis and Margaret Dygas, alongside fledgling emerging talents, we get a taste of the collection, compiled by the festival owners and new label manager Geoff Kirkwood AKA Me Me Me records boss Man Power. With Em & Stav's "Driver", the duo share a muted piece of Bristol-infused bass brimming with minimal sounds, glitching accents and unfettered beats.

Shoulder to shoulder smartly dressed men sat hovered over the screens, intently watching the information that shot across the screen in a rapid bursts. Illegible code and indecipherable numbers; blink and you'd miss it. From the outside, little was known about the operations taking place in this building. Many speculated but all were too afraid to ask...

Under his Pleasure Model alias, Bristol born producer and film composer Antoni Maiovvi explores his love of wave, synth and Italo disco. Having previously released an EP and two albums for Budapest's Dalmata Daniel, he now makes a return to the label ahead of his new LP on 100% Silk, delivering a four tracker titled Update 2.1. Written during a period spent living in The Hague, the release is a batch of freaky Italo jams, complete with weighty drums and soaring synths.

This EP centers on an original track by Romain FX, founder of Hong Kong's Fauve Radio, that lays out catchy vocals over bright piano chords that combine for an uplifting early 90's nostalgia. Berlin duo Ca$hminus composed of Gratts from Belgium, and Eluize from Australia, strip the track leaving us with raw covered vocals mashed with analogue style beats and an overall grit that makes you want to move. Transmuted once more, Reba from France, shifts the sunny original to a heavy trance revival packing it with high energy, it's dancefloor ready.

Ca$hminus' delivers a raw and tender cover version of the Romain FX original. Not using any of the original parts but re-recording everything  (synths, drums, vocals) themselves, the Belgo-Australiana duo take he track into completely different territory.

The evening was young but they all knew where it was headed. To infinity and beyond as they said, holding hands they walked between shadowy alleyways and amidst back streets in the company of friends. The dancefloor loomed, an endless escape from the trouble and strife of the daily cycle of repetition and denial. The same routine was fierce. Not before long they would find themselves sprawled out upon the floor, the afters at Gav's gaff was the blissful solution to an otherwise hectic situation. It was everything. 

SDS MAX readies a new EP for Erbium Records, a deep moving break focussed trancey affair designed to delight and destroy dancefloors. This one comes equipped with a poignant track title, I feel like we all know our own Gav...

Unknown Mobile should change his name to Banger Mobile because I feel like every time one Levi’s tune hits my ears I’m literally fuckin’ reelin’ for the dancefloor. “Tired”, his contribution to a killer various artists compilation on These Things Take Time hits on all the right levels and might be my favorite from his growing discography. Reviews aren’t supposed to be sad, but I’m pretty fucking sad that I can’t get absolutely destroyed by this tune on one of my local rave systems. I know, times are tough right now, but we will persevere and slaps like this will get the dancefloor time they deserve. OR WILL THEY!? I don’t fuckin’ know, okay. All I know is that I’d trade 30 Molson Canadian’s for a chance to take this tune out for a rip at Panorama Bar.

Normally, I’d have the words to describe the tune in finer detail. In the past I’ve given breakdowns of specific instrumentation choices and I’d point out the track’s perceived genre influences. BUT LIKE, THAT IS NOT RELEVANT RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I’M TOO BUSY SMASHING THE REPEAT BUTTON WITH MY WHOLE FUCKING FACE. PLEASE GOD SOMEONE MAKE ME A 45-MIN VERSION OF THIS TUNE. It’s really just everything I love about the current flavor of tech house and deep house and labels like Casa Voyager, Coymix, Dance All Day, etc. Floaty yet PUMPY, driving, spacey, punchy, techy, fuck man. Proper grammar goes right out the window when a track hits like “Tired” does.

Anyways, I hope ya’ll enjoy the one review I’ll write this year, and I hope it came across that I really really really love this tune. And for the love of all that is holy please check out the full project. Regularfantasy has assembled a serious cast of characters for this one and there are plenty of other amazing tunes to be heard.

Spanning the spectrum of Disco, House, Breakbeat, Techno and Electro with their production and mixes, the duo have many releases in the works to help them craft a name for themselves within the scene. Their debut EP lands on Manchester based record label Chequered Wax and features 3 tracks full of breaks, deep basslines, atmospheric pads and squelchy synths.
