After traveling to Central America BELLY DANCE SERVICES (@bellydanceservices) continues their journey further south: The fifteenth release of the Austro Turkish label is called TZANTZA. A genius joint venture between RANDOM ATLAS (@randomatlas) from Santiago de Chile and MARZIAN (@marzianmusic) from Buenos Aires. The EP features saxophone player JOSÉ PEDRO CÓRDOVA as well as remixers CORNELIUS DOCTOR and OBERST & BUCHNER!

EP name giver TZANTZA is an epic piece of story telling filled with lively percussions, charming saxophone play and a captivating baseline. If this track were a movie it would be the latino version of Stranger Things directed by David Lynch.

The remix of TZANTZA comes from one of Viennas finest couples: OBERST & BUCHNER. Currently working on their album the co-heads of HEIMLICH MUSIC carved out a crunchy synthi stomper that brings extra pleasure to every room.

With their second original track BARRICADA the admirable trio from South America again proves their willingness to tear down barriers between traditional disciplines of electronic dance music. Therefore they simply just had to also give birth to a club version of this alluring obscurity.

At last french producer CORNELIUS DOCTOR added his unique touch to BARRICADA. The co-head of Lyons HARD FIST RECORDS checks in with a floor filler or no, let’s call it a fancy boredom killer!

For Love over Entropy, music is all about ideas. Experimenting with different workflows and taking influences from a wide range of artists, he eschews formulas and tries to infuse every track with a life of its own. As a result, ever since the first release in 2013, his music is primarily shaped by his own musical fascinations instead of genre conventions. Crucial to his tracks is a sense of internal logic and flow, that also extends into his live sets.

At an abstract level, Love over Entropy's music draws inspiration from the Ligne Claire aesthetic. This is a style of drawing made famous by Belgian cartoonist Hergé in the 1930s, but which goes back even further, to Japanese woodblock cuts from the 17th century. Very much like those woodblock cuts, Love over Entropy's music is precise yet organic. To the point yet rich. Abstract yet familiar.

Love Over Entropy wished to name this EP 'Pleioné'. In Greek mythology, Pleioné was an Oceanid nymph and mother of the Pleiades. Pleione presided over the multiplication of the flocks. This title thus seems utterly fitting, since the music seems to keep on coming and going, the same yet different, repeated yet with sounds adding to each other in waves. The whole gives a sense of being so subtle and deep that the mind gets to float freely in a boundless ocean of sounds.

To complete this package, we are delighted to have Philipp Priebe on board of this project to offer his own dreamy yet bouncy take on the original '5step3'.

Wandering through the forest he could here little but for the occasional chirp of birds nestled in the trees up above him. It were as if he was shrouded beneath some dense green sky in which wild colours and tones flourished in the glint of the sun and the shadows which fell from above.

This could be magic. Perhaps it was…

He wandered atop soft moss, taking one step at a time, being careful not to lose sight of the path upon which he tread ever so carefully.

There was magic here alright, that was certain.

Secret Circuit is sensationally remixed by Andrei Rusu who reworks the music into something wonderful and delicate, pieced together by flurries of arpeggios and loving melody from an otherworldly piano.
