Italo, edits, dark disco, in the space of a little more than two years the small Bastia-based label "From disco to disko" has managed to offer its own vision of electronic music in Corsica.

On this new release, a remix of the track "Nuit d'ivresse" by the pop duo "Vague d'azur", FDTD offer a story of encounter. The meeting of Rose's sweet lyrics and Olivier's flamboyant guitars, the meeting of soft French pop and dreamy synthetic layers, the meeting of the burning sun setting over the Mediterranean sea on a summer evening. In this reinterpretation called "Midnight Love", Valerj offers us a new vision of this story: an electronic, haunting approach, where dark and bewitching glances meet under the acidic lights of a starry dancefloor."

This is a healing icaro for invocation of tribes, groups, peoples all over the world.  Usually with the intention to 
summon the spirits of the ancestors.  And this to learn from them, to feel their legacy.  We ask for their help by 
accompanying us with their wisdom.  "Tribus was for me (Marijn) the first song I composed on the N'Goni." (The N'Goni is a West African harp/guitar painted on the CD cover).  "For me (Juanita) this song was the starting point for a much greater work.  While singing along to the sounds of the N'Goni, a deep connection with Marijn was 
created, opening up a new world for me which started in 2014 as The White Arrow.  This song has been accompanying us for years during ceremonies.  It has become an icaro that calls for the letting go of the grief of the past and to stand here and now in your power.  We made a very musical 'heartbeat' version for the CD to emphasize the atmosphere.  A giant canoe takes you across the waves of the past all the way back and forth.  We learned this song for our Maestra Ema’a, but the song is registered to Herbert Quinteros (owner of the song).
