The letter was long winded and told a tall tale of love. It was written upon delicate paper with carefully spelt ink. He read it not once but twice before taking in the meaning of the wording, it had the potential to change his life and alter the very face of time to come. The way it made him feel was prodound and abrupt, shocking yet sweet. He sipped from a tall glass as he folded over the last of it before placing it atop the glowing embers of the burining fire. The lights were turned off and he sighed.
