Metallic structures towered high above the rest of the city, their appearance ominous and menacing. Who resided in these buildings, nobody knew. No signage emblazoned the entrances, and only on rare occasions were people seen arriving or leaving. They weren't offices or homes, they weren't schools or charities, their purpose was unknown, their story untold — an unsettling mystery that remained unsolved.

Next up on Coloray's Intercept Records comes the debut outing from UK producer Charlotte Denham AKA Talik. Influenced by her time spent living in Berlin, Hackney and Brighton, the four tracks across 'Cold Silver' showcase her ability to play with texture, rhythm and tension — crafting music for the body and the mind and finding comfort in the spaces between light and dark.

The situation was critical, the information rogue. It was time to recall everything he thought he'd known about his reality, every creative association and delusion was a mystery and not one worth resolving. Instead he would now choose to lose himself in the darkness of the night, wandering between the trees, amidst their towering might and wise presence. He found himself at home in the forest, it was here in which his imagination could run wild and free without the constraints of others. A total recall into isolation and the abyss. 

Lord Of The Isles has announced the release of a stunning new collection of tracks on his own recently launched new imprint, Dusk Delay. The record features long form ambient excursions which leave the listener lost in a magical place. This track "Recall" is a favourite.

Online shopping had become her vice, or perhaps you could call it an addiction. Every day an influx of parcels in all manner of shapes and sizes arrived at the door, it was a wonder she could find any room to house them. Clothes and paintings to ornaments and records; the number of materialistic goods that littered each room far outweighed the depths of her purse. But she enjoyed the anticipation, there was nothing like waiting for that next arrival.

Gothenburg's Höga Nord Rekords add to their evergrowing catalogue of mind-expanding sonics with a solo album 'I'm An Arpeggiator' from Stiletti-Ana, who makes up part of hazy electronic duo Jesse. There are nods to the sound and production characteristics of Jesse's work across the LP, but it's imbued with mysterious, ancient atmospheres, influenced by the Babylonian fishing god, Dagan, realised through the Finnish producer's huge collection of vintage synthesizers.
