'Aggelos first approached Lurid Music with the idea for this project a few months ago. We agreed on one condition, that all proceeds be donated to refugee causes, like we did with his Black Sea EP which supported the Syrian refugee crisis. When Russia invaded Ukraine, we decided our focus had to be helping the Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes in search of safe havens abroad.

We discussed this with most contributors to the project and the consensus was that donations should strictly go to humanitarian groups and not any armament funds. There were also some thoughts about helping conflict-affected peoples in other parts of the world but we decided it was too much to tackle for a relatively small project like this one.

Therefore, donations stemming from the sales of this release will be distributed to the following humanitarian groups currently active in Ukraine or neighboring countries welcoming refugees:

This illustration is an homage to Maria Prymachenko’s “May That Nuclear War be Cursed!”, which also inspired the title of this release. Leap is a music enthusiast inspired by the aesthetics of the 80s, actively showcasing musical genres such as italo, disco, and nu-disco to the audience. 
Since 2019, he has been producing his own music and has managed to feature his releases on labels such as Estetika (including a compilation with Alberto Melloni, Romain FX, Johannes Albert, and Donald Dust) and Do Me. 
It is worth mentioning that at the Bruma Festival, Carol Mattos opened with Leap's track "Ray." 
Currently, Leap continues to reinterpret the tube aesthetics of the 80s in a modern manner. Additionally, he hosts the Biosystem podcast on radioplato.by, a local non-commercial radio station.

Unearthed by https://soundcloud.com/obermannkind this LP contains six underground electronic, minimal synth, proto techno & new wave songs of an lost obscure German Tape from 1986. Produced in Münster West Germany, just 50 Tapes were distributed and just a handful are still alive. 
Thanks a lot to Dunkeltier aka https://soundcloud.com/sneakerdj who restored all the tracks. It was really tough job. Even the mastertapes (directly from Mr. Gotling) were in really bad condition.
