This is an edit of two half hour live jams performed 01.09.19. They were performed in one take using a live looping improvised approach, no overdubs, just a loose structure in my mind and making it up as I went along. This is part of my preparation for a performance at the Teesside Cyberpunk Convention in November (this doesn't represent a potential set, more experimenting with different approaches). I took my favorite parts and mixed them into a slightly tidier edit.

LA Streets, 2019 (Improvised Live Studio Session)

Original electronic music inspired by the sounds originating between circa 1972/ '82.
I mostly make music now by improvising it live, you can find a lot more of my work on YT.

My compositional style is rather eclectic, ranging from traditional folk music to neoclassical to deterministic, and several things in between.  I use a variety of free software for creating electronic music, including SunVox, ChucK, IanniX, and Audacity.  I am always interested in learning new techniques and trying different styles.  I studied music composition with Stanley Hollingsworth, and Early Music (including lute) with Lyle Nordstrom.  I regularly perform on various acoustic instruments, including keyboards, bass and acoustic guitars, recorder, and penny whistle - though my first love is piano.

My music adventure started in 1996 on Amiga Demoscene, where I was active until 2004. I had the opportunity to be there, on the real DemoParties and CopyParties :-) where I used to compete in MOD and XM Tracker Music.
